Ok i first want to start off by saying i'm not an admin. Even though i'm not an admin i still cannot stress this enough. I have traveled the Spawnpoint servers to play and to spectate. I see many things but the main thing i look for is the persons name. I notice people with cool names racist names inappropriate names and names that have a url in it. I cannot begin to stress this enough: you cannot advertise a website for a name. Websites are copyrighted and we're in the middle of playing a game. I see this all the time people advertising their myspace. I will now demo peoples names with a url and send it in. I cannot stand it anymore. It's annoying and illegal. Racist names and inappropriate names have to stop aswell. SpawnPoint is a great community of gamers and those of you who take it upon yourself to go and make your name a url a racist name or just something inapprpriate you are making SpawnPoint look bad. I hope those of you reading this can help me to stop this.

Not trying to be mean here. I agree with what you say BUT i dont think you need to tell this to the people here since most of em are regulars and know the rules but more like tell it to the others on the server when you play or something.

unholy wasn't trying to be negative. thank you for your concern about this topic, I'm sure it means a lot to everyone that you've taken the time to think this through. all unholy meant was that those who are members of spawnpoint.com are usually conscious of the server rules! he meant that you should also spread this advice to players outside of spawnpoint, as some players are inconsiderate.

If you see a name that you find racially offensive, cool. Demo it, get the STEAM ID and send it in. A decision will be made regarding that player.

It is admirable to want to keep the servers enjoyable for everyone, but let us not let it border on zealotry.

As well, Unholy meant no harm. You do yourself a disservice by calling advice from others "BS", and telling them to keep their comments to themselves.

Spawnpoint strives to keep the forums as enjoyable to visit as the servers. If you have an issue with a fellow poster, do your best to keep it to PM's.
