Suggestions for spawnpoint :)

I'm just making this thread because i'd like to let spawnpoint know where they are going wrong and hwo they could make things better. This is not a post for critisizing them ( im sure i spelt that wrong ) but voicing your suggestions and discussing them so we can all figure out the pro's and cons and hopefully this thread will catch the attention of spawnpoint and some of the better ideas will be implimented

My suggestions:

I think that the rules on the spawnpoint CSS servers are not made public enough. I think there should be one strict set of rules to follow on every spawnpoint server. Those rules should be posted at the very top of the page that shows up when you first connect to a server.
But because some servers are different for example some are zombie servers some are gungame servers there should be a section at the very top, for any specific rules for that server. There should be nothing before these rules so players see them everytime they are on the server.

Pro's: Everybody would know of the rules.

Cons: Im not sure We can discuss it

Admins in my opinion should be more assertive. They should punish allot more for minor offences like camping etc. Or swearing, maybe slap them for 5 damage if they swear of camp or purposely block or something like that. And there can be no arguements because they should be aware of the rules if they are posted on the front page.

Admins should also use the admin chat function allot more to make anybody who intends to break the rules aware that there is an admin there.
( admin chat is where an admin can speak publicly and their writing is in green )

Pro's: There would be allot less petty arguements and camping etc.

Cons: Not sure, but im sure that somebody will come up with some

Seeing as how you are not listed as a spawnpoint admin, I dont know if you've ever had to be an admin on a server that is constantly populated.

I dont mind your idea for posting the rules up front, but in all honesty, I dont think anybody will sit there and read the rules before hitting ok to game... It just wouldn't happen.

As far as us admins going crazy on every minor offense, that's a little extreme. I keep track of people who are swearing and let them know what's going on. If problems persist sometimes a private message works, or I just admin mute them entirely. It doesnt become some huge screaming match, it's just taken care of. We all know how to take care of glitchers/campers/hackers/etc, and if you are having problems with these types of things maybe you should bring it upby talking about the server you play in, instead of a general spawnpoint suggestion.

I've been gaming here for years now, and an admin/forum memeber for a year now. Things go pretty well in my opinion. My suggestion to you, is dont try to hard to help, just have some fun. It's supposed to be a game remember. We admins are the healthy medium that keep it a game and not abuse !

Sorry, I just found out this kid was banned globally from our servers. Guess it makes sense he didnt know what he was talking about, in my opinion...
