I have a question about the SP's servers
i think it was last year, SP had upgraded the servers to the new ones, I'm wondering if i can use one of the old one since SP doesn't need them anymore?
The reason i want to use one of the server is that I wanted to make a server, because my computer and internet connection is not good enough, so that ppl come to my server and they lag like hell. If i could use one of the SP's old server, I'll setup a server(CS1.6, since theres not much CS1.6 server) for SP, and I can make the server clean.
If anyone can give me an answer and some kinda reason why or why not, that would be great.

Those old server boxes are no more.....The old servers don't exist any more.

The only servers issued are sponsored clan servers given to thoss clans that are active in the SpawnPoint community, link their site to ours and show an active interest in expanding the SP name :)

Well, I had a clan before and we were really good.
Because we didn't have a good server, so that we have to dismiss each other. As a leader, i want to get my clan back again, but i could afford a good server. I was part of SP before, so if SP can share one of the server with me, I and my teammates will advertise for SP.
Please help me out, I know SP has some extra servers(maybe not anymore), but if my server goes up, i bet there will be players playing on the server(more than 10) because we had 8 clan members plus a few players=10, and if the server is not lag, more player will come.

Therefore, Spawnpoint won't give you a server for personal use, only if as stated, you are a sponsored clan. Which takes time, effort and activity. But if you want to get a spawnpoint server populated then feel free.:biggrin:

The clan i am in is active. They have been active for probably 3 or 4 months going good so far. We are a usual clan that play lila panic map. we don't do cevo maps or anything. We have a website and everything and if we advertised SP can we get a server?

Just advertising SpawnPoint won't get you a server.

Our technicians are aware of the issue and are working to resolve a hardware failure with the LA servers.
We hope to have them back up as soon as possible.
