KICKED & BANNED

Hi!

I have been playing in EVOLUTION for a long time, I was GIVEN admin by STARLOG today (May 6th 2006) and while i was playing somebody banned me for no reason.

I would like to have an explanation and get unbanned from the server. The message given to me was

"KICKED AND BANNED"

STEAM UserID STEAM_0:1:142086, I play under the name fu >> Ecstastic

I didnot cheat
I didnot use any kind of profanity
I didnot abuse my admin (just got it)
I didnot team kill (ff was off)

PLUS THERE WAS NO ADMIN PRESENT WHO BANNED ME, I asked around players on the server and found there was no admin, who banned me then ?

my fellow admins in that server that knows me : OPREP 3 PINNACLE, [RPD] PENGUIN, Starlog and some PHXX tag members.

PLEASE UNBAN ME OR HAVE SOME SORT OF RECALCULATION BEFORE BANNING ME PERMANENTLY.

YOUR HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

I have been in my console and dug up the information, you guyz can check and find out what was the reason, other wise i would say it was an admin abuse !!!

I banned you for 1 day as I promised I would. Remember yesterday? When you were cursing at jason todd and accusing him of being a hacker? Well that was me. And you kept it up after I identified myself as an admin.

You may not hack (you wouldnt even be allowed in the server if you did) or team kill (moot point since FF is off), but you are definitely disrespectful and profane. Not only while typing, but you're also an ass on the microphone too. I have no doubt that you would abuse admin rights since you kept insisting that I cheat.

I know you too and I cannot fathom why you were allowed to become an admin. You're rude and obviously can't spot hackers (since you accused me of hacking yesterday).

Dont pretend to be all innocent and nice. You remember how you were acting yesterday. And you know how you normally act. And I'm sure you remember the 1-day ban I promised you. I love how you're so polite on these boards yet such a jerk on the server.

Just curious whether you received the PHXX admin guidelines and admin for dummies? If not, I can send you the files (that's why I asked for your email) or you can look up the information on the forums. Be aware that courtesy and respect for all players is the standard on the server . . . the Evolutions server belongs to PHXX and not your or mine to be treated as a private server. Just because a player is getting high kill ratios does not mean player is hacking, that's why the admins on the server consult with other admins or observer and record demo. Accusing someone of hacking right off because of high KD ratio is not the right way to conduct business. I noted your constant statsme and ranking inquiries when I was playing with you last night.
You should be aware there are really good players on the server and not all players use their normal tags . . . that includes all pub admins as well as PHXX clan members and management. Since you are the newest admin, I would recommend that you sit back and observe how admin business is conducted on the server and who all the admins are on the server.
I'm disappointed that something on this level has occurred already. Admins should be looking out for the interest of the server and players.

At this point PHXX will have to forma admin commity - for approval of admins.
The PHXX players you saw in the server were probably BOTS...

I am sure of the PHXX guy was not a BOT, his name was [PHXX] HITMAN and he talked on microphone with us. I have been admin in 3 different pubbing serversbefore, there was nothing wrong with me being an admin was there. I was even admin in Starlog's CS:S Bad Boy's Server, was there ever a complaint or being dumb admin against me. I am sure u would kindly go through or talk to whoever neccessary to analyze and give admin rights if you think i am suitable.

REQUEST TO 3 OF YOU GUYS, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT DID I DO WRONG ? THE REASON I WANTED TO BE AN ADMIN WAS THERE IS NOT AN ADMIN ONMOST OF THE TIME I AM PLAYING,THERE ARE OFTEN AFKs with 3 kills and 281 deaths, he left afterStarlog restartedserver.To get players in server, sometimes you need to switch maps i.e. dust2 or office from originaldust. I am not inexperienced but it seems you guys decide in a second what is going on without looking into it.Kindly look into my matter and I continue to ask for my admin rights, make me a temp admin ifyou want but you guys should have an admin who plays throughout theday.

Actually, it was mainly you and F@zu who were incessantly berating me, not everyone else in the server. Mypoint for banning you for the day was to show you that you shouldn't bea jerk to people. The point has been made so if one of the upper level adminswere to unban you, I've no problem with it.

You are well-behaved when I use the name "wekko", but more often than not, since the admin rights have been down and I've been undetectable, I've been using other names (all batman related). Actually, after I told you I was admin, you said something along the lines of "no you're not; I know all the admins and they're my friends." And you kept jawing at me. So I told you that when admin rights returned, I would prove I was one. Any of this sound familiar?

Honestly, I never talked trash to people. It serves no purpose b/c there is more to the game than just skill. It also involves the quality of your computer.When I started playing many moons ago,the video card I used was my onboard graphics card. It was rough....my computer would lag like crazy if there were 3 people on the screen. Thats why I learned to snipe. Everyone starts out somewhere and you can't expect them to be at your skill level. You should appreciate people of all skill level including low ones. For example, if they're enemies, they will be easily killed. If they are a teammate....well hey, all you need to buy is a deagle. Pretty soon, one of your teammates will die and you'll get their gun.

Before becoming an admin, I acted the exact same way as I do now. I'm sure anyone who has played on evolutions a while can attest to this. Admin rights shouldnt have anything to do with it. You are who you are.Regardless of his garb, Batman is still Batman. Even when he's Bruce Wayne. After all, Bruce Wayne was able to foil an attempted restaurant robbery by squirting mustard into the robber's eyes. So even without his costume, he's Batman. And he's not an admin.

You may not be aware, but there is often an admin on the server using an alias. As much as I've played on it, I've been the only admin present less than 5 times. Are there really AFKs that have 281 death that appear often? I've only seen it once (yesterday), and it was b/c all admin rights were disabled (as they have been for a while so the server could be updated) and no one could kick him. How many times have you seen it?

I myself have spent over 120 hours in the spawnpoint servers (according to psychostats). Devil dog over 160. Bush over 140. Penguin has over 200 hours. You've played almost 36 hours. So howcan you honestly think that the majority of your gaming timeis unsupervised?

I believe you're inexperienced b/c you assumed I was cheating after a few rounds. My KD ratio was definitely not spectacular (less than 3:1). You didnt spec me for full rounds. You didn't make demos. All you did was start ranting about it. Is that the mark of an experienced player?

I dont know about the other admins, but I do play throughout the day as long as there are people in the server (at least 14). I find myself with a lot of free time as I await special agent training. And there is a high probability that during peak hours, you can easily find a few RPD players.

Actually, Wekko doesn't really ever talk much at all. I've been playing with him almost the entire time I have been playing cs:s and I don't think I've ever gotten more than a few words out of him.

If you ask me I call people doing this stats whore, I'm not saying you are a bad guy for doing it, but personally I find it annoying. It's not quite spam to type /rank /statsme every round but damn do you really need to see if your rank dropped or increased every round ? Maybe it's just me but I tend to be less patient with people like that.

There is nothing wrong with typing statsme or rank. It is interesting though that the server ranking was reset because of the server roll back-no big deal. No, you didn't accuse anyone of hacking when we were playing,there was not reason to accuse anyone. Basically, the admins on theserver do not accuse players ofhacking. We may question the player aboutISP connection or computer type used but admins never accuse. Admins observe, spectate,consult with other admins on the server, record demo and then kick/ban player if determination is made player is hacking. Demo is then submitted per PHXX guidelines.
The player you mention that I froze, once, spammed profanity in spite of repeated requests and warnings. He spammed the server and disrespected all the players on the server including me. He went away on his own volition. As I stated in the private message that I replied to you, I have never seen you do anything out of the ordinary and enjoy playing with you on the server. However, when other admin(s) under different tags see something different and state otherwise, I am going to have to back them up. I have NEVER EVER seen Agent Wekko trash talk. . . he is all business . . . playing the game or consulting fellow admins regarding hackers.
You are certainly welcomed to play on the server and I look forward to seeing you on the server.
