New Admin on 24/7 Assault Server-Admin Abuse

I logged on the 24/7 assault serverEST 69.90.174.5:27015 around 1730 Friday and the players were up in arms. Everything transpired before I logged on but apparently an admin, steam id 0:0:5409384 The Puma Man/Bin Laden/d4n/Spooned/Hitler, was freezing various players on the server and just causing general mayhem. As soon as I logged on saw many players voting to kick d4n off the server and raising cain. He quickly changed his name to Spooned. Firefighter logged on shortly after I did. I did an sb_status to see if I could find the steam ID but Spooned changed his name to Hitler and Ididn't see the name change. Hitler then typed hail Hitler or something of that nature during game play. Eventually Firefighter either kicked or banned this player for spraying porn on the server.
I just figured out who this player was by checking the psycho stats and the various tags he's going by. This player should be jacked up and beaten about the head and shoulders.

Oprep is correct. I got on today 4/7/06 and I spotted him spraying porn all over the server, I noticed that he was wall hacking I have demos of him somewhere...I to was told that he was freezing people over and over. I warned him 7 times to stop spraying the porn and spamming the mic...I have banned him from the assault server for I believe 2 Days. I have to noticed that he keeps changing his name repeatidly because he does not want to get ban, I was able to catch him in the act though. To my knowledge i have taken proper authoritie in this matter (i checked admin for dummies)

..although I don't remember writing anythin about how to deal with abusive admins...maybe I will include that in my next version.

But yes you did the right thing. Some upperloards may not aprove of banning any admins, but in this case if he was truely hacking, well done. Any admin causing that much chaos does not deserve admin, or to play on any Spawnpoint server.

No no Mr_Me I understand stand you completely and you're right it doesnt say anything about abusive admins...It does say stuff about hackers though so I went opon myself to do what it had said...lol i'll try and find those demos ASAP

Logged on the server and players complained about Puma Man/Bin Laden/d4n/Spooned/Hitlerfreezing pub players and using new tag #237 myg0t something. Players mentioned that Joker was on server and banned this "admin". Players also mentioned have screenshot and I passed on to them to forward to hacker@phxx.net and to me as well.

I banned Dan yesterday and have demo's screenshots etc. I don't think he is using mani to freeze people though as there are no mani commands appearing on screen. Is it possible he coulad have gotten the rcon pass? That was my initial thought. He was spamming racial stuff in game and also spamming the mic. I will send demo's and ss's later today.

Joker and Oprep, are you sure he was an admin? Did you type ma_users and look to see if the person had admin access?

No sorry, i have previously used ma_admins although found it useless at actually telling you if an admin was online and unfortunately didn't know the ma_users command. If I see him again I will do this.

How else would he be able to freeze other players if he didn't have some kind of admin?

I have been told by players on the server he is an admin. Although the short time I was on the server with this individual I did not see the admin skin on any of the players. Usually when I log on this server, I cycle through all players to see if they have the admin skin so I have some idea of who is on the server.
I have just seen the result of this individuals work on two occassions. He did use some type of myg0t tag yesterday from the information that I received from players. It is interesting that if he is not admin how he is able to freeze players. Unless the psycho stats haven't been updates, he is not using any of the tags from my previous post but I know that for a fact he was on the server yesterday using the myg0t tag.

ma_users to check for admins, i have it set so my Admin skin is not on when I play in this server. Checking for skins is not the most reliable way to do it, ma_users is quicker too

There may be a hack able to access commands on a sever. Back in 1.6 (long time ago) there was a hack that would give the user rcon access, if that is possible I am sure there is a way to access Mani is you are not an admin

iof you type amx_status it gives you everyones steam id/etc/and it also gives the players access letters and if it has letters then the admin has admin (everyone has the letter z access level--- itm ight be a well its one letter) and if they have more then they have admin.
