USER ABUSE (advice)

well guys i need some advice here as to what exactly i should do with this guy... he plays under the name KiLLa `WHoLeTeaM. i am the admin to SPAWNPOINT.COM | 24/7 fy_iceworld (69.90.108.5:27015). I will be posting up pictures of the things he says. but in short he start to accuse people of hack so i check them out and to my best judgement they are NOT hack they are just really "good." unfortunately he's one of thoes no-one-is-better-than-me type of people so because i didnt ban these "hackers" (yes there was more than one according to him) he decided to verbally abuse me. anyways i am going to attach proof of this. although it may not seem like a big deal he was doing this throughout the WHOLE GAME NON-STOP. there are other people that can prove of this and i am not sure how many othe spawnpoint users can verify as well. anyways i would like to get he banned from all spawnpoint servers if possible. all in all i feel i made the right decision not to ban or kick him (although usually i do kick) but i am actually a very lient admin ... i let them talk if they like ... after all free speech but it comes to a certain limit that he crossed which actually offened me. so let me know what you guys think thanks.

by the way i also told him that i would be posting this up so that he could defend himself from being banned from all the spawnpoint servers and he simply said "i dont give a fuck"

I think if somebody is legitimately harrassing you...your the admin...kick him off. Give him a matter of hours or days to cool off. He will either get the message or move on. If he is just complaining about other players because they are better then him...you can ignore him. Lots of people bitch. You may have to answer for your actions so make sure your doing the right thing.

well heres the thing even if i slay kick or ban tempoarily he comes back to some the same stuff over and over and over again. im really tempted to perm ban but what can i say i give people more freedom than most admins do.

then you must like being dumped on then. personally after i've warned, kicked and temp-banned i feel justified in perm banning a disruptive person such as that.

If I know a person is like this normally and not just having a bad day, I would just ban after 1 warning. But since it is always possible he is a decent person just havinga bad day just warn him a few times then temp ban him for 5 minutes. 5 minutes is good because it helps him realize you are not making empty threats, and he may just move on after seeing "banned". Most of the time they move on, and if they don't and come to the forums, well, they are screwed arn't they. If he comes back after the 5 minutes and you are affraid he will keep trying to start shit, well thats easy. When he gets into the server and a new round starts, simply"amx_tsay red"The next one will be permanent"" posted 4 times rapidfire. This should stop any urges he gets.

If that is all he says, he is pretty much giving you the all clear to ban him. Don't worry about what the guy will think of you, just ban him if he is causing that much trouble.
