Admin abuse on Frag Fest East #2

Hi,

I would like to report admin abuse on server 69.90.174.7:27015 SPAWNPOINT.com | FragFest East #2
I joined the server around 22:55 and I was banned for 60 minutes forno apparent reason five minutes later.
There was some admins present at the moment and someone obviously abused his ban powers.

Nice report, complete with a self-recorded demo! Do you always record a demo? I tried for a while...cstrike got too big though

Most likely a hack assumption, but I can see you likely don't hack. PHXX admins that server, and there were 2of them in there, blame them!


Admins note...never ban on hack assumption without demo proof...none of the admins in this demo even went to spec...

You can see his AIM and his other links show it is "Mr. Frag". Good catch ShutUpHoe. I don't know if this has any relevance to the situation, but it is worth taking into account.

Well, the only reason I mention that you are Frag might have significance is the fact that I think someone had perm banned you once before on East 2, but perhaps I am wrong and am thinking of somone else. Correct me if I am mistaken. A previous perm ban might be reason enough for an admin to reban someone. But I don't know, I wasn't there.

You are right, but I was unbanned well before SPAWNPOINT ever existed.
And again, that perm ban was unjustified.

I played a couple of times on East #2 during the last few months.
Most of the time, admins knew who I was.

Recently,
I joined on the 28th of this month, to be banned 60 minutes a couple of minutes later
I joined on the 29th, to be banned once more for 60 minutes.

The demo shows what happened on the 29th. Just check your logs to see what happened on the 28th.

I'll give you that you are a questionable player no matter what name you came in. You have stepped on peoples toes in this server in the past. In this instance, an admin that perm banned you once before, realized you were no longer banned, an re-instated the ban. I do not know whether it was for hacks, disrespect or what. No demo has been provided to hacker@phxx.net and you are not on the global ban list. Maybe one day in the future you'll be forgiven and that steamid will be able to connect to that server.

The perm ban was never reinitiated.

The admin in question temp bans me for the simple reason that he has a prejudice against me. As Mr_Me_II said, no admin ever went in spec mode to watch me and proceeded immediately with the ban.

I am better than this adminhim and he hates it.

He temp bans me so he can get rid of me of the night and play his game without being annoyed by better players.

Fact of life. Happens on every server everyday, deal with it.

There is no need going into spec mode. Ecspecially with you. Simple reason being, if you or any other regular that would decide to use hacks, would obviously stop when they see a spectator.

I know everytime a player walls me, gets 10 hs's in a row, or whatever, i simply check their steam id, and 25% of the time, it belongs to you. Yet miraculously, if you go to spec mode, they play like ass.

I would not bother spec'ing you either. Mr_Me has not dealt with you before, and simply stating normal procedure.

Feel special, we bend the rules for you.

A few points:

1. Don't need to go into spec mode for you. I can watch you when I need to
2. I perm banned you months ago. We been thru that, not going to rehash
3. The demo you supplied had nothing to do with the temp ban I gave you a couple of nites ago, so
Mr_Me only talked to it, not the ban.
4. Don't need Mr_Me to tell me about admin responsibilites.
5. I don't have a prejudice against you or hate you, just do what I need to keep server friendly and hack free.
(only prejudice is against hackers who want to ruin the game).
6. I rarely even let my presense be known on any server, so I rarely kick or ban, unless seriously warranted
7. If I see you playing again and see the same things again, I will perm ban you again. For now, I will just continue to watch.

Fine, since no adminshere wants to take theirresposabilities, I will record the demos for you.
The day you will perm ban me again, ill submitthe demos showing that you had absolutely no motives to ban me.

Could someone explain me the motives that lead to the two temps bans. Especially the one I submitted, since it "had nothing to do" with the first one. Hacks ? Id just like a cofirmation.

I thought Dew explained it pretty well. You had been perm banned in the past. The server ban list got nuked and we only had the global ban list to rebuild it from. Apparently someone recognized you as someone that had been perm banned in the past (and still would be if the list hadn't gotten nuked) and put you back on the ban list. I don't know who it was, but I'm going to guess that the reason they only did 1 hour temp bans was either so they could discuss it with other admins or they didn't realize the timer in the ban benu was set to 60 minutes instead of perm. Looks like the bans had nothing to do with anything you might have been doing at the time, but rather were just an admin recognizing you and putting you back on the ban list.

frag, there are alot of reasons for a ban being a temp or perm. you are one of the few players we remember being disrespectful, annoying, questionable, etc. like the others have stated you are special. you have a history with our clan and we tend not to forget some players like yourself who have revisted us so often with your bs from 1.5 to source.
so.... find another server to "dominate" like you claim to because your ban will stand in east 2. this particular server is clan managed AND operated and stops with me. i have a great set of clan mates with great admin skills and if someone from PHXX bans you then again like the others have stated... deal with it, get used to it, and we are not going anywhere else you are!

for now it apears to onlyhave beena temp ban but who knows maybe you will one day work yourself back up to a perm ban

Oh please, give me an exemple of me being disrepectful towards anyone here.
I know most of you think Im questionnable, but Ive never been disrecptful to any of you.

I know I will be granted a perm ban very soon. I know my next game on east #2 will most likely be the last. I know you are all waiting for me out there.

May I suggest you to recruit better anti-cheat admins for the future, because the few ones you have right now seem to have difficulty differencing good players from hackers.
