Server Spam: Racial Comments

Hey. This is Admin Penguin from an Evolution server. I banned a player tonight for spamming the chat in the server, making very racial remarks. He stated that Jews should be put in ovens and hung, which I take very offensively, being Jewish myself. His name was: jitterbug C|:

and i do the same thing on my clan servers with 0% hesitation. being from the diverse land of san francisco we don't take kindly to those kind remarks.

i agree he should have been banned but what if you have a guy whos name is ihaten***ers would you ban him. i think he should but he didn't type it . i think people should be banned for implying rascism.

Usually we warn someone to change their name a couple times, then straight to a temp or perm ban for racial stuff. Whether they type it, or it is in their name, it is still not allowed. It also doesn't matter what color their skin or religion they may be from. Any defamatory remarks are not allowed on Spawnpoint servers.

I would have banned him regardless of the race he was offending. In this case, there was no way of warning him. He had an automatic copy/paste thing going. The messages were coming up at a rate of about 5 per second.
