New Email Address for Admin Abuse Demos

We have recently made changes to our email, the SSS group email and admin abuse reports will now need to be sent to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com instead of abuse@spawnpoint.com. The reason for this is that our new email provider reserves all abuse@addresses for their complaints, so anything sent to that address will get sent to their abuse team too, to avoid spamming them we have now added the abuseteam@spawnpoint.com address.


All complaints about our admins now need to be sent to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com.

Why not unite the SSS and ACT, so all demos & stuff would go in from the same link?

Because some of the SSS have other duties that don't involve reviewing demos and vice versa

I've enough on my plate without wanting to get involved in getting the ACTF demos....

Aww c'mon Nat....At least I got your mods status activiated in the admin forums

Anyway to clarify....Some of the SSS are very, very good at spotting hackers and cheats and have a natural gift for being able to see the slightest of motions etc that signify hacking. These guys are the Anti-Cheat Team and do a very very good job at it too

Others on the SSS are very good at giving information and help to the admin corps on policy enforcement and suchlike and answering dozens of SpawnPoint related server issues from our mass of guest admins in both steam friends and ventrilo

Obviously both sets of people need global admin rights to be able to help on any of our servers at any time and both are very important.

However, people like Alpha and I have a lot of other duties to do with the web community and to be honest i'm probably not good enough at spotting minor hacks either to wish to be "amalgamated" into one unit.

This system has great advantages as well. The ACTF have the "reputation" for being fair and above reproach and keeping it to a select few helps maintain that appearance.
