Ok, this admin first kicked me because i tried to team-kill a guy that in the prior round got in front me on purpose to get me to shoot him and get me killed just to steal my weapon, he has done this not only with me but with another player.

So i try to tk him next round and get kicked, ok ok fair kick.

I got back in the server complain about the admin decision and explain what happened, not sure if he read my messages, because he was having fun insta-killing (insta kill thru console) other people (opposite team, CT).

Anyway, next round starts, i get an AK, get a CT kill (Opposite team) and get banned . . .

Now i would like to know why . . .

Most of the SP guys are nice, i have meet some and even have 1 or 2 in my friend list and talk with them oftenly.

But, you guys got need to take a closer look to whom you give out admin rights . . .

You need to take a closer look at our rules. TK/TA is against our rules for any reason period. Arguing with admin's decisions ingame is also against our rules. If you think an admin is breaking our rules we have for admins, get a demo and send it in to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com. A 60 min ban is quite lenient as well.

With these rule reviews taken care of, I hope the admin comes in to explain themselves. We will look into this, but it doesn't sound like the admin was out of line. Having to kick a player and then have that player come back and start arguing sounds like a classic cut and dried temp ban if the player doesn't cease.

No, you would not have been banned for rejoining the server, however you would have possibly received a temp Ban for returning to complain (or argue) about an admins decision. This behaviour usually sees the other players having a rant too and the whole server often gets out of hand quite quickly.

You said yourself, ' i got a kick for my tk, ok,' so why rejoin and complain at all?

Should you wish to complain about an admins decision, please keep it off the servers and bring it to the RaI Forum.

Making "justice" by yourself by Teamkilling someone who purposely blocked you is not a good idea, in short it's still TKing which is against the rules. Like the admin said, you need to try to let him know about the incident instead of TKing the abuser. You can chat in private with admin by putting "@ " (@ then a space) at the beginning of your message, so only him see the message.
In case no amdin is present when this happens, you can record a demo and submit through the report a hacker tool (in "servers" tab), and the abusers will be banned from the server.

I'm not sure exactely if that is what you intended to say, but we require our guest admins to have a GOOD reason for banning players, which apparently wasn't the case.

A kick is to let the player know he has gone very far and he is going to get banned if he keeps on abusing/breaking the rules, etc.... after numerous warnings. Yes, after a kick a player can join again, and he is welcome to do so if he behaves correctly. If you really want someone not to come back again, that's what ban is meant for. (and demos for possible adding to GBL if the player is very disruptive to the game).

I think the incident is closed now, both sides get demos of future incidents so we get more information in case it happens again.
