banned for no reason

Hi, was banned from officefest 24/7 (83.142.230.68:27015) for no reason. didn't recognise anyone on there as an admin at the time, i only know vihannes and the failboat guys as admins. hadn't even said a word so it wasn't for swearing or abuse - not that i swear or abuse ), score was nothing out the ordinary and received not a peep of a warning.

my steam id is steam_0:1:3224088

it's not that i can't find another good office server, i don't want to. i get on well with most folk in there and have wasted more than a few afternoons and nights in there. i'd like to know who banned me, why, and i want their rights revoked for being a plum.

There is not a demo submitted of you at this time. The admin in question should be in shortly to explain themselves. We will evaluate the situation when we have more facts. We are not going to revoke any admin's rights without proof. This means a demo or a SS submitted proving that they have broken rules. Without proof, we will not take any action against our admins. We do not take players words in these cases for obvious reasons.

yeah fair enough you can't just take away their rights with no proof, but i'm afraid i don't know how to make or submit a demo (despite me playing cs on and off since 2000). it's just very frustrating to have that little box pop up saying 'kicked and banned' when there's been no warning. i wasn't playing in a controversial manner, ie blocking, camping etc. thanks for your time, look forward to an explantion!

At the top of this section, there is a sticky called "What to do if you spot a hacker". This tells you how to record a demo. The only difference is where to send it. Send it to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com if it pertains to admin abuse. Screen shots can be taken by pressing F5 in game. These will be saved in your cstrike folder.

This is the path that my PC uses to that folder:
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\flashdog68\counter-strike source\cstrike

Inside the cstrike folder, there is a folder named screenshots. F5 saves it in that folder with the name of the map you are playing when you take the SS. Each time you take a SS of the same map, it just names it <the map you take it in>1, then <the map you take it in>2 ect.

SS are best if you open your console and type status then hit F5. This proves what admins and players were on at the time.

our guest admin can only ban for a max period of 24 hours, your Steam ID is not on our Global Ban List therefore your ban should have been lifted.

It is disappointing that the admin that banned you should have posted an explaination by now, and for that I can only apologise.

Could you please tell me the date and approximate time of your ban so I can find the admin that banned you.

Let me know if you are still unable to join officefest and I'll unban you.
