Admin Abuse on Vancouver assault

A few minutes ago Some admin on Vancouver assault banned me without reason. I did nothing against the rules what so ever. The admin did not even warn me before I was banned. Is there anyway that I can get unbanned or how long is the ban.

Hi ryu and welcome on the website.

First i deleted you other post, this forum is the best place to get an answer to your question.

Can you give us more information about your ban ? Like your Steam Id, the name of the admin who banned you, if you remember ?

Admins usually can't ban for more than 24 hours. if he didn't give you any warning, he may have thought you were hacking, in this case a demo has been submitted to the Anticheat Team for review.

Certainly the admin who banned you will come here and explain the reasons of his ban.

Hi skidavo , I did not hack. All that I did was stay in the hostage room one round. The ban is expired now so Im not banned anymore.

Yes and I hang around with the proffesors. That is mainly my cs_assault servers name .I know that you wernt the person who banned me because you were not playing on the server at the time. Prof canada says your his favorite admin.

I know I wasn't who banned you, but I can see why they would. You have been discussed amongst the vancouver assault admins numerous times before. Your attitude of pushing the rules to their limits and occassionally breaking them has created for you a reputation you should not want. You frequently block your teammates, hold closed the hostage room door, and annoy virtually everyone in the server while you play (to name a few of the lighter transgressions). I have 2 or 3 demos of you that I have opted not to send in, perhaps against my better judgement. You do not respond to admin warnings and disciplines.

Consider this your wake-up call. If you continue the way you have been, you will be demoed and disciplined further, and if the ACT team decides, perm-banned from the server or globally banned from all spawnpoint servers.

That all being said, on the rare occasion you're not a pain in the neck, you are actually an enjoyable player, so I would prefer not to ban you

Nasty camping the hostage room is not against server rules.

OK guys this is the RAI section and not the server rule's discussion forums section.(Search the forums you will find all the answer to the hostie camping issue!)

I would advice anyone that is not directly involved in the incident to refrain from posting here, violators will be issued an infraction.

Also I've seen that you have been unbanned already Ryu but we are still waiting for a respond from the Admin that banned you as we do require our Guest Admins to visit, reply and shine some light on such incidents, [SP] takes Admin abuse and/or mis-use very seriously.

Please post your steam Id on here Ryu to help us in finding out who banned you in case there is no reply so we can go ahead and proceed with our disciplinary measures.

Hello, I believe it was I who banned you that day.
In the past following weeks you have pushed many of SP's rules and have been warned not by only us admins but other players have been sending constant complaints of your actions.

As to the topic at hand, I banned you because I had warned you multiple times that day under aliases through regular chat as well as an admin PM. I suggest that if you want to continue playing you should not constantly push rules to their limits just to irritate admins and other players.

I would have to agree with plup..i have seen you do several stuff that you have done...i have warned you several timea aswell..and still you dont stop..so i totally agree with plup cause i am also an admin on that same server and ive seen you alot of stuff you shouldn't

Camping hostie room is not against the rules, but if you camp it round after round and block the doors, it will remove all the fun. As CS:S is a game, it is supposed to be fun, and we want players on our servers to enjoy their gaming time.

Please next time comply to admins' requests, if you think they are really abusing their authority record a demo and send it to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com.
Be sure that if other complaints are raised about your gaming style, we will ask our guest admins to record some demos and submit them for review, and we'll decide if it is acceptable or not.
