Many people, such as Atrojucio and behemoth, got the bright idea to put on my clan's tag and refuse to take it off. I dont know if admin action may be taken but i hope so..

Spawnpoint cannot punish players for wearing other players tags.

He now says the clan "Split" and he has the same tag.. Only 1 problem with that.. We just changed the tag today, as we wanted a more stable clan name!! Nice try Atrojucio! and then aafter he gets in trouble, he changes his tag to |K| without the dots -.- 187murder thinks it has been resolved but im not satisfied when hes still using our site forum to recruit for "His Clan" and calling himself the Knifateers like us...

Okay warhawk, i was there when this issue started, i will explain CORRECTLY and ACCURATELY what happened.

I came in 174.5 serverat about 7pm when i see a big discussion between warhawk and mr.hoodDEMANDING tonyd to 'ban him ban him' a player who was alledgedly wearing their tag. Considering the clan was brand new, i decided to get everyone in spectator and try to resolve this.

AtroJucio was very cooperative and understanding, UNLIKE you and mr.hood (who kept demanding action to be taken, and kept telling us what to doand how to do our job).Even after the problem was resolved, your clanmate Mr.Hood kept telling me how to do my job and kept demanding me to take action and to respond his questions, making me unable to help him and your clan out....i muted him, he disconnected and came back to only keep having the same behaviour, he is 'lucky' i didnt ban him for 5minutes or moreso i would get the problem resolved.

After a while i talked Atro into taking the tag off and replacing it by another one...which wouldnt be the exact same as warhawk's clan, again, he was VERY cooperative and understanding, unlike your clan.

The problem has been resolved, he is nowusing a similar but not exact same tag.

Now i would appreciate from your part and your clan's, if you would let us(admins) handle the problem at our pace and not demand us to 'ban him ban him' without eventrying to understand or resolve the problem, causing a big discussion over the server in 'all chat' when it could of been resolved privately in SPECchat and not involve or bother the other players that were on the server at that moment.

Idont get how you can come here and post this as such a big problem AFTER it was resolved, and specially considering that when i moved you to SPEC so we could resolve this fast and quietly, you kept going back to your team trying to play and by doing so not helping the case at all.

It has been resolved, we cannot tell people what to use as name, or what tag to wear or not, his tag was changed, making it a different clan. Now as for him using YOUR site forums to recruit for his clan, that is not related to this at all. What players do outside of the spawnpoint community cant be controlled by admins of spawnpoint servers.

First of all I would like to apologize for any problems, or any issues caused during this incident. With thousands of people playing, on thousands of CS:S servers, its very likely that two clans could have very similiar or even identical clan tags. I understand the anger and frustration of Warhawk, and Mr. Hood, and I see no reason for them or anyone else to be punished in anyway because of this incident. They were only defending the clan tag that they believed was rightfully theirs, which I have full undertsanding of. I never once posed as a member of their clan, only tried to help them understand that the likely hood of two clans having the same tag, or name is very likely, but their behaviour made it very difficult to manage any calm, and mature conversation, with resolution. All I receieved from them was demands, which only made the incident escalate. I as well am guilty of wrong doing, once again, I apologize for any problems or conflicts created by this issue, and for this having to reach a level where admin intervention was necessary to resolve this conflict. The rationality and maturity of the adminshelped reach a fair resolution, which I thank them for.I hope we can put a nail in the coffin with this incident, and we can all continue to play on the server without any hostility. Thanks again.

Lol sorry Murder. I didn't mean to come off as "demanding" or anything like that. I was just trying to stress the idea that he was warned numerous times and kicked and he came back and it still went unresolved. So in my eyes, if he didn't comply with what you or tony said that was a ground for being banned.

I don't want this to sound wrong but this entire thing is very funny. I don't want to make you guys out to be idiots becuase you're not. From your shoes we look like a couple of "punks" looking for trouble and Atro looks like he's an angel. That isn't that case at all lol. This is a very easy trick to pull in social engineering and luckily I haven't been bored enough to do it yet but maybe one day. To be honest, what proof does he have of his clan? He's got the tag, that's about it. But really, do you guys think it's just a coincidence that he happens to have the same exact TAG and NAME as us. Yet he's got no members, server, or website to back up his alleged clan. But I see exactly what you and Tony are saying because in your shoes, you can't rush to conclusions. I'm just trying to sort this out and not belittle you.

If your englishwas "good" you would be aware that the definition of "try" is " to make an effort to do or accomplish something, attempt." I attempted nothing. I succeeded. Although Tony has nothing more thana meer video of me claiming ownership of some ridiculous forums, and me, beingfully aware of the gullability of the spawnpoint admins and moderators, I'm positive I could easily once againn bullshit some other story. What this story all boils down too is two member, of some nobodyclan, were protecting their worthless and meaningless"tag" that I have as much right to as they do, as pointed out by the previous post by Raven. Next time Warhawk, Mr.Hood, you should be more respectful and considerate to the players on the server with you. Just because they havea life, and are not asa superior player as your are, you shouldnt beliddle them or discriminate against them because theyre not as "good" as you. Maybe you should understand that one day, you'll have a life too, and your ability to spend endless hours riding on mommy and daddy's paycheck playing online FPS will be over. What mostly has come from this is a number of people on the 174.5 server wearing your clan "tag" only because they can, and they know it upsets assholes like you. All I have to say is, you all were my bitches for the past 24 hours, its been fun. Thanks guy.

Tony, that is all well and good......but we can not and will not take sides in these things....and you guest admins are not suppose to either....even if that guy was lying his butt off. You, as admins,can try to constuctively help them resolve it, but you can't force the issue unless a player is copying their whole name in an attempt to impersonate them and cause trouble. Spawnpoint doesn't enforce clan tag rights except for PHXX...I wouldn't recommendcopying that tag unless you want a perm global ban...<-------for any of you that don't know. Anyway, back on subject.....don't let your personal feelings for players you like (or don't like) infuence you to take action on their behalf either. You as admins must remain impartial. Now, on to you players...don't demand that our admins do anything...this does not help you get anything accomplished and makes us (admins) more inclined just to stay out of it and do only what is necessary to keep peace on the servers.... even if it means kicking or giving a temp ban to you to make this happen. Keeping the servers fun and people coming back is our primary concern.
