Why bannend?

I play almost daily on your public server SPAWNPOINT.COM… tonight there were 4 admins in the game present. Then we played de_dust, I played at T-side. One of the admins was standing behind the underpass " he defended these" I was shooting with my scout in the mosque from t-side… Suddenly I was being killed with AWP by a CT which was standing above the underpass on t-side. Therefore I asked to the admin (Dirty Burty) if he only wanted to do his task defending the underpass beter, because he was standing there himself and nevertheless CT had come through… Afterwards I said I wasn't leading the T's and he gave me a warning… I kept myself quietly for the rest of the game…

A game later we played de_dust 2 and after a a few rounds the same admin all of a sudden started to to burn people wheil they still were playing… I said then stop being a admin if you can't do it proporly! This because I simply wanted to play and I don't like it if admins without a reason start abusing their power… I stood 24ste tonight on the ranking, therefore I play simply serious and not to be a total noob… I hope that I can play on the SpawnPoint.com and that admins will start asking why and not just warn people and ban them, without a propper reason!

One of our rules is don't argue or disrespect admins. It sounds like you might have done both. If you believe an admin isn't following the rules or abusing their admin, please get a demo going with "status" typed in console or screen shots of your open console at the time. These can be sent to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com.

I am guessing that this is a UK server. If you know the server name, please post it, its IP, and time of your ban. This will help us sort this out.

Without a demo, the most you can be banned for is 24hrs unless it was a staff member here at Spawnpoint.

I do expect to see a response from the admin about this.

Greetings Brood... not suprised to see you on here... the moment I banned you I told Ninja you'd be on here in 5 minutes flat... and it's been entertaining to read your version of events...

Here's how it actually went - on dust, you said "Dirty Burty do your job properly and protect the underpass" right after someone had shot me in the head... firstly, if I'd still be alive, I might have done a better job at protecting the underpass. But his shot was better than mine. Secondly, you don't run the team dude - it's a public server. And you shouldn't be telling people what they should and shouldn't do, and you certainly have no right to be bossing admins around and criticising them in game. That's why I told you to wind your neck in. You made more sarcastic comments to me later on - SmJe and Ninja saw you back chatting me but I resisted taking action at this point.

Next map, dust 2... all of a sudden I started to burn people? Plural? You sure? Wrong again. I went to buy my armour, nades, flashes, and M4. Unfortunately, as I'd just been spec'ing a wallhacker, I left it too long to buy my items (too late to buy items), and because my admin menu was still open, I inadvertedly burned [U.E.A] Lucie - one of my fellow clan mates who was only on 5 health... so she immediately died. She was on our team speak at the time and I apologised profusely. Most of the UEA crowd found it highly amusing that a "seasoned admin" would make such an error. So granted, my mistake, but no harm done. And I didn't burn multiple people, just one, Lucie, my clan mate who has forgiven me!!

Once again Brood, you decided this would be a prime opportunity to lay into me and you said "Dirty Burty - why don't you stop being an admin if you can't do it properly" by which time I'd had enough of you.

Therefore, you've been given a 1 day temp ban. Nothing permanent. It will clear tonight. But this ban serves as a warning to you - do not disrespect anyone on the dustfest server. And do not disrespect admins. You've got a major attitude problem pal and unless you change your attitude, you'll probably find yourself in exactly the same position again very soon.

SP staff - any issues, please talk to SmJe, Ninja or Scorpio who can verify. All 4 of us were on, busy night, wallhackers, and lots of very rude people! Peace out.

well brood, i do remember u saying " what r u 12?" and "y r all the admins so selfish?" which i was quite frankly stamped by as i didn't really see anything to justify ur words... as well as the other things burty quoted. TBH u were very vocal last night n u should have left it alone long ago... taking digs at admins is never a good idea...

in addition i had similar trouble with members of ur clan before over ghoasting on our servers, which i warned but u all flatly denied even though i spec for a gd period to be sure... n ur all were very lucky i didn't take it further than warnings. But i do remember for a period afterwards some of u were abit cheeky to me ingame... but since then u seem to have stopped, well at least when im around so i started to talking to Wuta a member of ur clan again ingame as n things were going well... But last night u n cillar were obviously ghoasting again!!!! which serveral ppl ( not me btw ) were complaining about, but it was late n i was in no mood to get into it with u all again so i said nothing personally...

I suppose that makes it two strikes against u lastnight, so i think a temp ban is nothing to complain about guys.... instead just take it as a time out to get ur stuff together.

Your tale of the events differs from Burty's somewhat. Now, as XTR3M3 states, without demo evidence of admin abuse or even screenshots of your console showing the issues you are complaining about there is no case for Burty to answer for.

Please note that you should now make sure that Brood is demo'd if he is a habitual rule breaker as, a number of minor infractions add up to a major infraction.

You should also know that, there's no point in asking SmJe or anyone else as, without proof on either parties behalf, it's all hearsay.

Brood it would be advisable to read the spawnpoint rules that clearly states "no disrespect" and "do not argue with guest admins" before someone demos you a couple of times and you find yourseld on a ban list you can't come off
