Unjust Banning =[

This is a response to my friends thread:

So today i was playing on the ZM3 server when i was banned unjustly. I was talking to my friend, also in the server, on the phone. He invited me into his room, and when i went i moved his cade slightly to squeeze through. As i was doing that, an admin on his mic said "you are wrecking other peoples cades" and then i got banned. My friend tried to explain that i was not trying to wreck the cade to the admin, but he said the admin said "thats too bad he broke the rules." I would very much like to be unbanned from the server.

also, i do not want people to think that [SS] Midnight was admin abusing, he just didn't know that what i was doing was not malicious cade destruction. I've played with him before and he seems pretty fair (and he can make awesome cades lol)

For your information our guest admins only have the power to ban people for 24 hours at any one time.

Only the staff can ban for longer.

However, if the ACTF consider any "infraction" to be worthy of a Global ban then they can perma-ban you from every Spawnpoint.com server.

Sorry I missed this. I try to keep an eye on this after I use any admin powers. I have been a bit busy though.

I do recall that steamID. I have this name linked with that ID: »|?y?|« Silent Assassin STEAM_0:1:19649300

And in my (alternate reality apparently) perspective this is what happened.

I had a lengthy conversation with an obvious cade breaker in the corner room that lead to no discipline on my part but a thorough education on not destroying others cades. Very few rounds later you (under the name: »|?y?|« Silent Assassin) came to my cade in the long room as a zombie and was promptly "cured" by yours truly (me). You immediately ran to my cade and destroyed it in 2 seconds flat then ran away. You got 20 feet then *POOF* the magic ban hammer descended upon you.

Ok so I decided to have fun with my narrative. Bottom line is you were told (in my conversation with another in admin chat and VERY plain for all to see) that destroying others cades is a jerk thing to do but more importantly there is a rule banning that practice. You did it anyway. You did it very obviously. You did it to the admin of the server. Knowing all that I gave you a 24 hour ban as it was clear you had no reverence for the server rules, and if you were willing to do it to the admin then you would do it to anyone. I then immediately submitted the demo I recorded of that instance.

For the ACT my submitted file was named: silent_7-23.zip

Again I apologise for my late reply. I thank screamthesorrow for bringing his/her complaint to the forums and by doing so showing maturity and responsibility.

Please follow the server rules.

Our server rules are in place so that everyone including admins can have "fun" playing the game.

Our admins are giving the responsibility of making sure that our rules are enforced.

Rule breakers are punished. Please be aware that a lot of admins demo trouble makers at the first sign of trouble and you, making out your innocence, just looks bad on you when the demo of you rule breaking is submitted.

Learn from your ban, you should be able to get back on server later today. However, please note that, having broken our rules already, further infractions will carry a more severe punishment.
