[Banned] An Admin name "2008" banned me

Hey All,

I've been playin' your SpawnPoint dust/office server a lot lately, I really like it. Anyways I was playing the other night and this "2008" guy said stop camping in one area in office. So I asked why and he explained himself so I stopped. Then maybe about 2 to 4 minutes later as I was walking through the same area he saw me and I quote "That's it OCHO(my steam name), have a good night, you can appeal for an unban on the forums". Then he banned my Steam id. I understand that "2008" said no camper (which I stopped) but he didn't have to go ban my steam id for walking around the level. Seems kind of childish and I am not one to disobey rules(that I am aware of) that a server like SpawnPoint has put in place to make sure people have fun but this "2008" ruined it for me. Can someone look into this for me?

I banned you, because after asking you a second time, not to camp people as they spawn from that spot in the stairwell, you told me to "Shut the F Up", immediately after I told "Mikelorch" to watch his language for calling another player a "f'ing douchewad". After you cussed at me for asking you to move it along, Then and only then did you receive your 60 minute ban.

I said I would "appreciate it", I didn't raise my voice, and I asked "Please". I initially hit the chat macro to convey my message as I do lately, but sometimes people do not have a microphone, thus, I said it in voice.

Cursing is not allowed on our servers, and especially at an administrator after he asks you to do something reasonable.

First off I did NOT tell you to "Shut the F up" nor would I say that in public or to anyone and even further more, the fact that swearing is one of the rules of the SpawnPoint servers.
2) There is nothing in the rules about camping, but because you asked me to stop politely, I did.
3) The level is small enough that there are only so many places you can run to/through. In my case I RAN THROUGH an area that you told me to stop camping in.
4) I never said you raised your voice. I respected the fact that you wanted me to move so I did.

I'd rather not get into a discussion about who said what swear and to who. I didn't use any foul language nor will I at any SpawnPoint servers.

I play Counter Strike to have fun not to be a jerk and tell people off.

2008 if you thought I swore at you, I apologize, but you have to lighten up on the banning and keep your eyes on people like "Mikelorch" that blatantly swear aloud.

You most certainly did.

I never ban ANYONE for simply camping people as they spawn. You indeed told me to "shut the F up".

Quite a few people were on the server, and heard you say it.

I will be sure to include whatever proof is necessary next time, as this time it happened on the spur of the moment, and rest assured I will be recording next time.

As far as Mikelorch goes, I gave him his warning, you do not have to be concerned about that.

In the future, please get evidence to support your claims if at all possible. In game SS, and demos if you can at all get one going. We at SP have made policy that no real action can be taken against admins or players without proof. If you have any such proof now or in the future, please submit it to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com.
