Hey guys ... got a dilema

I have some footage that is too big to email and too big to send through that file sharing web site for hackers@phxx.net can anyone offer another method maybe ftp ? on spawnpoint ?


oh yeah, and i tried to edit the footage and got errors while editing .... so thats a dead end also

Not sure if it will work, but try zipping it then sending it. That should reduce the file size

i can zip it up with winrar and save it as a rar in 2 mb increments and send it to hackers@phxx.net if they have winrar to unrar it with ... anything else guys ... maybe from the admins ....

I have tried the file sharing web site like it says in my original post and it wouldn't except the file ... but i tried it again and it seems to have worked this time ... maybe there was a problem with the site when i tried it the last time ... tried it several times though but anyway thx again extreme

simple share can handle a file that size easily, but can sometimes take more than one try to get it to upload.

for file compression, there are a couple of good free tools out there. My current program of choice is 7-zip, which you can get from http://www.7-zip.org/ it handles a ton of different compression formats, and I've found that the 7z format generally gives me the best compression.

I use WInZIp/WinRAR to compact a demo/demos into one compacted file. Then I directly email to hacker@phxx.net for review by the anti-cheat staff. If the file is too large for email then I upload to [link=http://www.gigasize.com/]http://www.gigasize.com/[/link] or [link=http://www.filefront.com]http://www.filefront.com/[/link] . I use Gmail. It lets you send files up to 10MB through email, which is pretty decent. I rarely encounter a demo, or compilation of demos that's over 10MB when compressed.
