Hacker banned already
Went to send in a demo of a speedhacker that i just took care of in the Dust/Office DM. Went to send it the demo and it came up with Hacker already banned.
I did not put in his steam ID I just put in demo, so im not sure what happened. I'll try replacing a letter in the name with a symbol or something.

I think it was the name, I entered cheet/a and it sent in fine. Hackers might come back with a second account and use the same name.

I have entered a request that it only looks at the steam ID when determining if it is a duplicate GBL entry submission. Until that is fixed, just keep making up names until it accepts your demo submission.

The submission form checks whether the players SteamID is already on the ban list when you submit your demo, if it is then it will display a message saying that the player is already banned.
Evidently leaving the SteamID field blank gets the same response. Just make sure to enter the ID correctly and I'm sure it will work fine in the future. |
