how on earth am i supposed to post on something relevant in a thread that is 3 moths old and get banned for "spamed a 3 month old thread" when making threads about something when a thread already exists about that subject is considered spam? quite the double negative if you ask me so what is a person supposed to do?

Deathscythe try searching the topic next time "Search" tab thingy on the same line as User CP), or hop into vent and ask an admin about it! Idk what it is that you are talking about but that's how I'd go about doing it.

The last reply was 3+ month old, we don't have a mod set up to close old threads so that's why we have to either close them manually or give infractions for members that spam them. I was hopping you'll learn what I meant in that 1 day ban, instead you waited your ban period out to complain on my decision which unfortunately for you still stands.

I wont be issuing another infraction for this unnecessary and mis-place thread (Will be moved to RAI section) until I see how you reply.

We DO have a mod set up to close old threads...it's called me BUT i'm currently on vacation

first off i posted this is in the admin section because it is something i felt non admins didn't need to read such as miusunderstanding amongst the admins.

second i know making a thread about something when a thread about that already exists is concidered spam.

third this wasn't really an incident i just wanted some clarification on the line between not digging up old threads and being able to make new ones and no get infraction for spam.

p.s sorry if how this post is viewed as me being mad i am just lil confused

1st Nat I know you didn't post in RAI section and I didn't delete you post cause I found it to be useful before I decided to move this thread thank you and you owe me 10 points infraction .

2nd deathscythe04 I thought this might be what you meant by this thread even though you expressed it wrong that's why I said I'm not issuing an infraction for this thread until you replied, and your off the hook . Now I'm gonna answer your question regarding this issue and its simple really, when your in doubt of whether you should post on an old thread or create a copycat new thread then do neither and message a staff member regarding that specific thread and we will be happy to answer/forward any questions/suggestions you have.
