Hi all,

This is my first time posting. I have been frequenting the spawnpoint servers for about 8 months now, and i have to say i enjoy the servers, and the play, and the usually always having an admin on to take care of random hackers.

This post is simply to stress the importance of who you give your admin capabilities to. Please consider the maturity into who you give your adminship to, not just who donates 5 bucks a month. As i said i have been playing in the spawnpoint servers for about the last 8 months, and in that time i can think of 3 seperate occasions where i have repeatadly killed an admin, and have been banned just for the fact that i have skill.

Again, i apologize for just bursting onto the forums like this, but it gets a bit frustrating when i get banned just because an immature admin gets fragged a few rounds in a row, or i have a 20-0 score, or i actually play the game with some thought proccess.

So, to end this godawful lenghty rant that im sure you are all sad that you wasted 2 mins of your lives to read, i would just ask that if it is not too much, can i be taken off of the ban list, and please look into your administrators.

For the record, admins do not pay for the right to take care of servers. All admins apply and are evaluated before being granted "guest" admin status. If you find an admin abusing his or her powers, please record a demo of the incident, making sure to type "status" so a steam ID can be connected to the name and send it to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com.

A good forum for this would have been the report an incident forum.

Admins at spawnpoint do not pay for their rights, as said by Drifter, and not everyone gets admin. Admin here is a privilege and you have to earn it. No admin will ban without good reason, perhaps he thought you were hacking, maybe he was wrong. Even so, guest admins can not ban for more then 24 hours, so it should not be something to worry about.

If he thought you were hacking, there is a good chance that he submitted a demo to the ACT for review and a final verdict.

Thanks for posting and please wait for a reply by someone on the Anti Cheat Task Force or the Admin that banned you.

The admin that banned you did so because they thought you were cheating, they also recorded a demo which they sent to our Anti-Cheat Team. The demo was reviewed and found to be inconclusive so I have just unbanned you from that server.

This had nothing to do with immaturity or revenge for you killing them, just an admin trying to keep the servers cheat free. Mistakes will be made, which is why we have our ACT to review demos of reported cheats before we will perm ban from our servers.
