Cheaters online - Admins offline

I have now just quit from the Spawnpoint Cs_assault UK server, which is crowded with players who violate almost every rule Spawnpoint have about the cs_assault map. I also saw 2-3 wallhackers, but not much I can do about that when I can't submit any demo. Recorded the most obvious of the cheaters, doing wallhack headshots with awp and so on.. But only get an error message when I try to submit it, and that doesn't make me want to spend more time on the server recording players.

The point I am trying to make is: There never seem to be any admins online at the server, I know there are others who agree with me about this. Of course those who are admins pop in for a couple minutes now and then, but there are no admins online to ban the cheaters and punish those who does more gentle violations. And that anoys the players who visit the server often. I used to play all the time on that server, but eventually when I realised that there always would be cheaters who can keep on playing and players that glitch and upperventcamp. I simply started to play on another 24/7 assault server, where I am admin and don't get frustrated with cheaters and trespassers, because there are always an admin on there to sort out this stuff. Maybe Spawnpoint should find some new and more activ admins on their servers too, before the only ones who play at this server are cheaters...

Thank you for your post and I'm hoping my reply can help and maybe make you change your mind about quiting one of our busiest servers.

1st let me say that our staff try their best to keep our servers clean and cheat free and that we carefully select guest Admins to help us manage our servers, unfortunately with all that we can't guarantee an Admin would be present on all servers @ all times. I will list few options for you and players like you that can use to help us help them in keeping the servers that you guys like clean and cheat free.

- Admin Applications can be found under the clan's/server's tab on the top of this page. If you think you can help then please submit an application and our staff will evaluate it and if you have the required qualification, which any popper player with good attitude and enough time played on the server selected would have, then you can have a chance to be a part of the solution.

- Staff and Guest Admins are available on our [SP]'s site, vent and servers through out the day, make sure you add them to your steam friends and log in on our services to ask them for help. Our staff have Admin on all servers while Guest Admins have admins on selected servers, but none the less they will be willing to help or get help.(My steam name is "AboAly83" please feel free to add and message me anytime if I'm there I'm glad to help)

- Recording a demo is the only way to get a hacker permanently banned or a tool disciplined, even our staff need the demo to get the results. You have mentioned that our "Report a Hacker" option is not working, I believe thats because at this moment out site being upgraded and few functionalities and bugs are being fix as we speak, it wont be long before such problems are resolved.

I assume since it was like 3am and your playing on a UK server that most people actually have a "life" and actually work in the mornings. Even so, there are still US support staff and admins available for that server if you know where to look or take the time on the forums and in the community getting to know people rather than just posting when you want to "complain".....

Other people find it easy to find admins and staff by either using the IRC or Ventrilo channels that spawnpoint has and that are easy to access....

To be honest i've had enough of your negative attitude ever since your "friend" was removed.

I've taken a close look at all your posts since the turn of the year and all you do when you come on here is complain about admins or complain about lack of admins or complain that we "validly" removed your "friends" admin for having a 54 minute demo of him being a complete @ss on server and abusing his admin to extremes.

I have proof that the UK Assault server has more admins on it that spend longer on it that most of the other spawnpoint servers.

For your information L4rk and Rocky (even for all they play) are NOT the admins who spend longest on a daily or even weekly time period on that server. They're not even close

When you attempt to submit your demo it does actually give you a message of who to contact. Also other people have actually managed to submit demos of cheats and hackers by using "lateral thinking" and a bit of intuition Spawnpoint is going through a major upgrade just now both on server and on the forums and community as a whole. Teething problems and glitches are bound to arise with such a major migration of the whole community.

That server is busy almost 24/7 and is one of the highest ranked servers for population in the UK.

So you have admin on another assault server. I actually have as well and it's not in spawnpoint. Your point is? It appears that it's "i'm not happy cos you removed my friend and won't give me admin".

If you're not happy your server space will be filled quite quickly by players wanting to play there. I'm sure you'll be real happy on your other server with your admin constantly available at your beck and call........
