Complaint about an admin

Last night I was playing at the Spawnpoint 24/7 Assault UK server and was hoping for a good time, but it ended in frustration and anger. The terrorist team was being owned, but anyway I joined them to try and even the teams a bit, when I joined the terrorist side the admin on the server (viruskill was the only admin on at that time), which had been on terrorist a while, joined the winning team CT just to get a better score. I told him that it was lame, especially when an admin does winnerteamjoining just because he is a statswhore, but he didn't do anything else than calling me a noob. Which doesn't bother me. Then he left the server and I kept on playing, but Viruskill joined few minutes later to start abusing with his admin rights. He was in spectate mode and saw me shooting a teammate because he kept on blockin me, the guy lost like 10 hp and wasn't mad at all, and Viruskill warned me not to tk/ta. The same round I decided to go for a rush, and suddently I get slayed by Viruskill, he said he had warned me twice not to tk/ta, and I said that I hadden't done anything after the first time (which I hadn't). Then he just writes; HAHAHAHAHHA!, and a little while after; Well I'm off again, cya noob.

Got to give a huge applause to the guys who choses the admin on this server, the only good admin has lost his rights (L4rk) and the rest keep on abusing their rights and don't bother to go after the ones who really violate the server rules. As usuall you guys won't do anything about this, have learned the Spawnpoint way of thinking. I don't got any demo of pics to add to this post, because it was totally unexpected, but if I had it wouldn't have helped.

(I don't get why you punish one admin for swearing a bit, but the ones abusing goes unpunished.)

Spawnpoint.com DOES take admin abuse seriously. However, in order for the abuse team to take action we require proof of the "abuse" in the forms of screenshots and/or demos.

All is not lost after the abuse has taken place. In future, if this occurs, even after the fact, open your console and scroll up to the relevent abuse parts and screenshot the entire proceedings then send it to abuse@spawnpoint.com.

You openly admit Team Attacking despite knowing that deliberate Team Attacking is not allowed on that server, no matter what the reason. Viruskill was correct to warn you for it.

For your information your "friend" L4rk was actually the centre of a 50 minute demo that was submitted showing him do much, much more than just "swear a bit".

Thanks for your report i'm positive that the "support staff" will keep a closer eye on that server for the forseeable future.

I shot a single shot to get him to stop blocking my every move, and the case wasn't about him warning me for it. It's totally OK that he warned me for breaking the rules, but that he slays me for teamattacking "twice" when I only did it once is just idiotic. He was perfectly aware of the fact that I did it only once and he slayed me because I told him that it was lame of an admin to join the winningteam instead of making the teams more fair.

But it doesn't matter, I'll get him some other time then.

Telling an admin they are lame for any reason will get their "scrutiny" centered right on you. Then when you break a rule, they will be right there to "catch" you. You have openly admitted to doing both of the above...reasons you break rules are not valid or accepted. Should you be able to break the no racism rule just because you grew up in a KKK family? Rules are rules. If players are allowed to decide when to break rules, the rules become invalid.

I can understand your frustration about this issue. What you have to understand is that we do not and will not take action against an admin without proof. If we did, every tool that complains about being disciplined for breaking rules by an admin would have gotten all of our admins removed long ago....whether they had abused or not. Would you like it if this admin could ban you permanently, then just come in here with just their word to close the case without proof?

I hope you can now understand our perspective on this and thank you for the calm way in which you brought this to our attention. We do watch admins after a complaint so it is not like it just gets "swept under the rug".

Fair enough. I wouldn't have been complaining if it hadn't been because the admin made up the "second violation". After the warning I simply ran out of T spawn to hunt some CT's, and got slayed. The other thing about this that I didn't like is the way he behaved after slaying me, clearly to get me more anoyed and seemed like he was having fun. As I said I called him lame because the teams were very unfair, not in numbers, but in skillfull players. And he joined the winningteam when he knew that his former team would be even more crushed then, I know it is not against any rules to do this, but an admin should have more integrity i you ask me. I see the point of getting proof, but I didn't think of screen capturing the chat after he was gone, thought it had to be a demo of him doing it and by then it was to late. But I get it, if he abuses his rights against me again, then I will record him. I can promise you that
