fugazi admin abuse...

I was playing on a counterstrike source 24/7 cs_assualt server on the terrorist side, i listen to this guy on a mic and then he suddenly acuses me of breaking the vents inside the building. i honest to god swear on my life and my family's that i never broke a damn vent. I think this guy took it a little to seriously but i honestly didn't break a vent because that would allow the counter terrorists to leak into our secure building. I felt really outraged that i was actually kicked and BANNED! from the server which i like to go to alot. I can't beleive i was kicked on false accusations because i broke a window with my glock they thought i also must have broke the vents as well. I get kicked for these false accusations and its like ok fine w.e, but im kicked and banned.... and its like wow i didn't do what u said i did in the first place but then u kick me anyways... i thought u guys were a good reputable server and a good peice of the gaming world and it really shows how sad u guys are when u kick and ban a guy bc u think that he broke a vent in a map... hopefully u can resolve this abusive admin and take his privelages away because he seems to think that he can kick and ban people based on absolutley nothing. thanks and have a nice day.

I was in the server at the time and was somewhat aware of what was going on, but I was on ct so I didn't hear any of the conversations over the mic. I can't say either way whether or not you broke that vent but I will say that one person playing as n_n admitted to breaking the vent after you were banned. Whether or not he was telling the truth is up to phxx to decide.

Yes, I hope this incident gets taken care of. I dont know if you actually did something wrong, because i wasnt there. Fugazi, im not trying to accuse you of anything, but as of now, you have two admin abuse threads against you. Just try not to ban as much. Warn them first, dont just kick and ban. Fugazi, im not saying you did the wrong thin, because I dont know what happened, but try to make sure with your actions that no one else has to start a "fugazi admin abuse" thread.

You were breaking the vent cover nonstop opt1mus. Ku. StrAnguh (Dirty Birds roomate) is my sole witness. You kept breaking it over and over again. StrAnguh (very enthusiastcally) said over the mic, "I just watched you do that Opt1mus!" He had been mad previous round because someone, now we know who, kept doing that.

He was being a pain and it wasn't all of a sudden. I did ma_csay STOP BREAKING THE VENT COVER numeral times. I don't ban people for kicks.

It is kinda unfortunate with all these bad things being said about me. I'm just trying to keep the playing qualitity at the server as high as it can be. So everyone can be content and just have a good time.

Spawnpoint cs_assault 174.5 has been very very hectic lately. I am usually the only one in there (in terms of admin). So I have to do alot of dirty work, and of course I am going to recieve some greif but I am just doing my job. Take a police officer for example. He keeps the peace and serves out order but it is all for the well being of the city/town. I am an admin doing the same for the well being of my server. Many people dislike police but also many people like them and think they do their duty and keep everything in line. I think most people like having an admin in, while others see it as a detriment and all hell can't break or if it does break loose they know there will be reprocussions.

Unfortunately the subject of the thread(s) is a bit misleading. I think that Fugazi is a standup admin. In regards to the vent cover, I can understand why the Ts don't want it shot out; however, that wouldn't bother me but to tell the truth I don't like Assault map.
I also think that Fugazi is trying to ensure the server game play is fair and fun for all. The mic spammers made life difficult for all on the server and unfortunately couple of the regulars were banned by mistake. . . resulting in 2 of the post with the misleading subject line.
Of all the CSS maps, in my opinion, the Assault map is a pain in the @ss for me as admin. Fugazi, I think you're doing a great job on keeping the game play fair and fun. Keep up the good work!

I dont know why but we have been having alot of problems latley on 174.5 with hackers and losers in general. Fugazi is doing a great job, but when ever an admin has to take action, even if its warrented, some is gonna get pissed off.

I definately feel Fugazi is one ofthe best and most experienced admins. He's fair and takes action when it's necessary. He's on more than many of the other admins, besides Swirsk who is now admin(and a very fine choice I might add!). He does his job very well. So don't flip out over one incident when he's aided the server greatly when needed!

I am gonna have to agree completely with OPREP and Ospr3y. Fugazi is the best that we got for admins. He respects the players and only uses his authority properly and fairlywhen it needs to be used. He does a supperiior job as an admin on our server. The best part of him that you dont find in to many admins is that he listens to the people/players. If people have concerns/problems aboutother players or things happening onthe serverhe will listen to what you have to say and decide what is necessary. Thats what a perfect admin should be, which is hard to find anywhere now a days.

As for these two fugazi admin abuse threads that have been posted. As far as i am concern (at least from the stories i heardof what actually happened), these posts are incredibly ridiculous, but yet funny to read. It's just hard to believe all these players that come on and post angrily about fugazi, when the events that happened on the server are so common sense.

Basically if I were banned like firefox and slappers wereand at the same time the mic spammers were on and were coping and using my player name. I mean, come on. Use your head. If that was me in there place I would have been, ah shit, he banned the wrong guy and I would have left and posted a simple note saying "think you banned the wrong guy, just wondering if you could please unban me" Just dont get it, this is such common sense, stupid stuff being posted on the forums. For the record its happened to me twice from admins, but I just dont get how you are not aware of what happened.

And as for the second fugaziadmin abuse post. Wow, dont go post on the forums protesting you got banned for something you didnt do, but apparently others are claiming they witnessed you doing it repeatedly. wow.

no one knows for certain that i broke those vents except for me, because i never fucking touched them. it makes me really mad that fugazi just kicked me because some loudmouthed player starts yelling and false accusing me of breaking the vents!!! I never broke those stupid vents, nor would i ever break those god damn vents because i realize and take seriously that the ct's are going to leak in throught them silently. I'm so sick of this sht. I just want to be able to play on one of my few favourite servers where i can swear on my life and name i wont ever break a vent or do anything. I'm not a hacker or a loser or some whiny dumb anoyying pimply faced 15 year old trying to break vents to try and piss people off, so when you guys start flinging god damn accusations around and fucking banning people.... then i have a damn problem. Anyways, opt1mus the person you are refering to (StrAnguh/Nitros/Colin/Stabby) is someone that I know and I have played at 174.5 for over 9 months. I trust his opinion.

At any rate you seem sincere that you will be a better and more respectable player so I am willing to let you back. I can't unban you but Starlog and maybe another senior admin can. I dont want to deny you just having fun playing because that is what we are all in css to do. I just want to root out the punks that ruin it for the rest of us.

I had a feeling this was a bit misleaded....Fugazi doesnt seem like an admin that would have done something like that, and I should have known. Optimus, you mislead everyone into believing that you didnt do anything, though you OBVIUSLY did. When you ask for an admins power to be taken away, say the WHOLE story, and dont just be a little d*** and lie about how you didnt do anything.
