I tried joining the server today, and apparently I'm banned? I haven't even played the server in a while, as I just broke my mouse. So, why am I banned?

A demo was sent in and I believe that it shows you cheating, so you were added to our ban list.

I'll check the demo again and if I come to the same conclusion I'll get a second opinion. Normally the second opinion would be from another of our anti cheat team, but they seem to be off doing other things at the moment, so I'll see if I can get one of the senior admins over at Steambans to have a look.

So unfortunately it may take a bit longer than normal to get back to you with a final answer. Thank you for your patience in the mean time.

If it helps, I've been banned before for "hacking", and I wasn't that time either. I have not used hacks in this server.

This unfortunately takes a little longer. Be patient hopefully the verdict will not be too much longer.

Well, thanks. And yes, I know that was pretty unclear, but I don't hack. I really want to get back into the server because it's where I warm up. I haven't been playing well these past few days because I can't practice.

Edit:

Wait, wait, you're having professionals review my demo? Haha, I'm honored. Hopefully they can see that I'm not hacking, though.

And sorry, I should have given you an idea of what "a bit longer than normal" means.

Don't think you are a special case because I went to Steambans, it's just I needed a second opinion from someone I know is good and the other Spawnpoint anti cheat aren't available at the moment. All appeals for cheating bans require a second opinion.
