SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

Hello, my name is Daniel but my online handle is "ninji."

In light of recent updates to Team Fortress 2, I have since almost completely dropped the game and went back to CSS (MannConomy was fine, but after that. . .) Anyway, SPAWNPOINT's servers have facilitated my necesity for quality games to play in. Particularly, I have been enjoying the DUST/OFFICE DEATHMATCH more than any other.

I'd say a good 25 hours ago (I could very well be wrong) I was banned for a. . . well, it had a reason, but let me elaborate. I joined and noted a rather mediocre player chat the terms "fker" or "bitach" whenever he killed someone, which I found not only hilarious, but severly misplaced considering his lack of "finesse" when it came to CSS. I assumed him a young teenager, and proceeded by talking trash back to him.

If this server keeps logs, I am sure you will notice I used the term "niqqer" very particularly to bypass the filter. I admit I was in the wrong, but an admin was there, by the name of Brendan, he told me to not use racial slurs. I politely agreed and abstained from saying anything like it again. But, that other guy, who I said earlier lacked "finesse," started commanding the admin ban me because I knew how to use my words for me instead of copying everything my opponent said (pro-tip: he was doing that).

I'd say a good minute or so went by with him continuing his mission of instulting me and those he killed before I told him to "Calm down, it is just a game" or something along those lines. Right away, I was banned.

I wasn't tripping, I had thought I deserved it for the most part. I figured it was a 24 hour ban at the most. But, as I stated earlier, I am pretty sure it has been 25+ hours and my ban is still in place. So, I formally request for my ban to be lifted.

When I came in, You guys were already at. So all I could do is just demo it, and take actions. I was told that any racism comments or anything at all is an automatic ban. When Both of you guys used it, that was when it hit me to ban both of you. For sure I know that Mr. Eats Will not be joining the server again because He told me to STFU N. or something like that. For your case, I believe that you were also trying to fight back using innapropriate words. I believe that I should have madyour ban a bit shorter from what you have said. But, if the staff sees that, then they will unban you. if not then they will keep the weeks long ban.

* Remember, Spawnpoint does not allow any racism at all on any servers. That is why When i came in a saw you guys both swearing off and being racist to each other. I just banned you guys for that reason*

Just an aside here.

Before you join a SpawnPoint server, next time, be sure to take a refresher course on the guidelines and rules that you are required to follow when playing on SpawnPoint. That prompt that most people automatically "Ok" or "Enter" when you first join the server contains the server rules. Take a look at that and make sure that you understand that, in order to continue to play on SpawnPoint, you're going to have to adhere to those guidelines.

"Well, muting only blocks voice, and voice is rarely used on DM servers. Though, I suppose letting all the Fire in the hole!'s spam his messages out off the chat box would suffice just fine.
And, I added a "|Z.N.| Brendan |USA|" as a search for "brendd" yielded nothing."


Don.t be spamming radio commands now. Those are part of the rules too.(No MicSpamming, or any type of spamming. I know what you mean by the gernade, But Don't spam the radio commands too. Just get an admin in. Or post on spawnpoint and someone should be in there soon. If you have problems with someone. Demo it. get the steam id. and post it on spawnpoint. The staff will review the demo and then if it is serious, the staff will put it on the watch list You are really helping us out if you are sending in demos to catch someone.
