Banned without reason or warning

Hi, I play on spawnpoint server SPAWNPOINT.COM | COMMON GROUNDS D2 which has a server ip of 83.142.230.73:27015 a lot and was rank 1 on the server under the name PikAchUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! with steam id STEAM_0:1:8291866.
For some reason unbeknownst to me I was inexplicably banned today without any warning. I had been getting stick (again) from the clan with seigneur in their name accusing me of wallhacking and I suppose some admin who didn't know any better believed them. If anything, that clans needs to be banned for constantly accusing me and only the other day I complained about this to one of the admin as I said that this might happen as they are always accusing me, just because they die. Please could I get a reason for this and unbanned?

Please allow the admin in question to come in and respond here. If you were banned by an admin for suspicion of hacking, please know that a demo will me sent in and it will be reviewed by our Anti Cheat Task Force.

As for now, we haven't received any demos about you. Please note that guest admins can't ban for more than 24 hours, you should be able to play tomorrow.
Sadly, we can't prevent people to call good players "hacker". You should try to take this as a compliment. I know there are times people can be very rude towards good players. I suggest you to add me on Steam friends and call me when they are getting too "annoying". Though that won't probably do much, I kicked one of their clan member yesterday for telling me I was an "admin who never ban hackers"... Sigh if they only log in here once and take a look at my "hacker caught count" :mad:

Thanks Skydavo, I don't think there is anything that can be done for someone to call someone else a hacker in the heat of the moment eg when a difficult shot is pulled off that ends up in that person's death, but when it's constant after that for like 20 minutes... then it gets a bit annoying. It's also not good (as I think has happened in this case) that because their "clan" were all jumping on the bandwagon and calling me a hacker, that it influences other people to believe it, which in this case an admin seems to have done and also if people believe there are hackers on the server, they are then more likely to leave and empty the server.
If/when this ban is overturned, I will add you to my steam friends list :D |

As guest admins can't ban for more than 24 hours, we hope they reply by 24 hours... We do our best to try to find the amdin who banned you and get him to reply to you.
If you're still banned and as the admin hasn't replied, let me know and I'll unban you from the server.

Thanks for your reply, I've been unbanned now, but I would like to know why I was banned in the first place just for future knowledge, as I can't see that I broke any server rules. btw, could I get you steam name so I can add you to steam friends skydavo?

I am working on demos now. I don't see one in it with your steam ID. There is a possibility that it just isn't submitted yet. For issues other than hacking or TOS violations, you definitely should have received a warning. For hackers, we don't warn them for obvious reasons.
If this happens again, please make note of the time, server IP, server name and any other information you can give us. Send that info if it happens again to abuseteam@spawnpoint.com. Our admins are suppose to respond to these threads....:mad: |
