Religion Yes.. Yes he did. Weaver has added the most controversial subject possible to the forums. Consideration and politeness is expected - though heat is expected as well.

Just wondering. Thanks

Yes. Every time someone tries to push their religion onto me, I take a step back. Maybe that's not disliking them because of their religion, but their actions. I don't have any problem with people having a religion, as long as they don't want to involve me.

I dont really care about anyone's religion. You cant change what they think,or what they like...and yeah, does your religion counts when your making friends? No right?

something to keep in mind, the human mind is wired for prejudice. The most self proclaimed "open minded" people end up being the most close minded hateful people you'll ever meet.

there is a difference in being "open minded" and accepting their ideas. I do not accept ideas I view as wrong, that compromises your personal beliefs. I can respect but I will not agree with/accept them. Open minded means to respect the ideas you hear and critically examining all of them including your own.

Have I ever disliked someone solely because of their religion? not in recent memory. usually I tend to dislike someone b/c of their attitude.

I agree with Serov. I respect them for their beliefs, may they be wrong in my mind or not. The only thing I dislike is when you go places and get hounded by people trying to force their ideals into your head. Also there is nothing more annoying than having someone close their mind to new ideas while they call themselves 'open minded'.

I guess you could call me a religious person, I can answer this question semi but not fully. The Bible and qu'ran preaches peace but infedility is also preached in both books. The right wing Fanatics are those who seek ways to push there religion onto someone else. In the eyes of Catholocism, Christianity, Judesim, and Muslim there religion is the right and proper religion. Why would a person hate someone over their belifes? I dont have the answer but in those religions that i labled there are people who look at thier beliefs as "This is the proper and only religion that should be followed." thus wars (Crusades) have broken out over it.

Hope that helps.

religious differences have been historicaly a motive for conflict. it is in human nature though, sadly. not even religious differences specificaly. petty differences as well. you look different, you act different, i want your land, i need more slaves, etc. there is no such thing as common good as far as the entire human race is concerned. well end up making ourselves extinct.
