I'm 14 ugly and I'm not very good picking up girls or even talking to them! i can do it as a friend but not with other intentions.. Plus having a crooked smile doesn't help! basically I don't know what to do when I like a girl..

i am not professional though, but here is the suggestion. try to get an msn id or yahoo id of a girl that u like.

And remember show some respect, i know this sounds gay, but this works.

To start talking with a girl you need, someting attractive. IT can be anything for example jokes, or some kind of actions. But no phony action try to make it realistic. thats all i know, i hope it work. IF u end up in hosptial don;t blame ,me for that.

That all sounds perfectly normal for a 14yr old. I have one bit of advice:

Don't hit her in the face with a football, that does NOT work. I liked this girl a while ago, she was making fun of me (in a fairly nice way), so I kicked a football at her. Not hard and I had no intention of hitting her, but the ball caught her on the nose as it went past her head. She was bleeding, I was horrified/amazed I'd managed to hit. It didn't work out between us.

Its indescribable how difficult it is to find the "right" person cause almost every girls head is soo far up there ass in toronto that they only notice guys the hit on them soo much you could laugh! and I'm not that way I don't like just going out and meeting people I would rather meet people in my social district..

First off, if you approach a girl as a friend, and not with "other intentions" in order to get to know her, you will be a lot better off. Relationships that start with a strong basis in friendship tend to have more of a fighting chance than those based on physical attraction alone.

Now - as I type this - I realize that you are only 14 and long term relationship is probably the last thing on your mind.

To help you meet girls and be able to talk to them...

Be yourself - your real self - not the person you portray on these forums (i.e. lose all the big talk about drinking and smoking weed )

Don't put yourself down - have a little confidence in yourself. If you talk badly about yourself, you will project that attitude.

Remember - 14 year old girls are just as unsure of themselves as you are. You are at a really tough age!!

Enjoy being a kid - you will have to grow up way too soon.

One last thought - never underestimate the charm of a "crooked smile"!!

LOL as i said i only drink when i go upto my cottage lol and thats like twice during the summer :P and i already admitted i dont smoke weed everyday like some big pothead i dont it for fun randomly! lol
