1 year anniversary

It's in 10 days and I have no idea what to do. I'm only 16 and she's 17, any ideas?

A nice dinner, followed by a movie would be appropriate considering your ages.

I agree with TJ - big points for remembering.

If you want to give a gift - something small, but meaningful and thoughtful. A nice card and a single rose are very romantic. I'm not sure what other gift suggestions to offer since I know nothing about your girlfriend.

As for the date, a nice dinner at a quiet restaurant or better yet...cook dinner for her. If you are not much of a cook yet, I'm sure your parents would give you a hand if you asked nicely. A movie is nice, but another idea, since it is summer, is to look for local outside music or theatre events in your area. If you can find one, many times you can pack a picnic dinner and spend some time together under the stars enjoying some music or a play at a relatively low cost. It's also just something different and new to try.

i have a 6 month anniversary, coming up in 11 days. and i am going to try to recreate atleast a little bit of the way i asked her out. litlte back ground info...she recently broke up with her bf bc she started to like me, and this was just before christmas. and her parents thought that was mean but she had grown impatient with her ex and grew towards me hence the break up. we went on a few date sorta things. and i had invited her over for christmas desert since she couldnt leave her family for dinner but as punishment she was not allowed to leave her house that night. so i brought over some of the desert that was served that night and asked her out shortly after... anyway, im gonna take her out and find aplace where we can have that same desert as the night i asked her out, and maybe even a little christmas music.

something i suggest is recreate your first date, or the time you first asked her out or first kiss, or something to that extent. i dont know your girl at all but i know mine will like what i m going to do. hope for the best for you, and have fun.

well congrats on remembering. i remember the day, and the time to the minute (not the second im notthat sad )

hmm best to get a small present and a card or similar and take her out somewhere, make sure its food she enjoys as it will make it even better. Maybe Cook dinner as said, i made fresh italian (pizza and garlic bread), made it all from scratch even the base . also gave a rose and a bunch of flowers as well. Then spent the night in with her which is also nice and "watched" a movie

always remember enjoy the night your self and dont drink to much =)

well we live in florida. and we go out alot. movies, restaurants, i cook for her, and all that jazz. I was thinking taking her to this placejaxson's ice cream parlor. Jaxson's Ice Cream Parlor | Dania Beach, Florida

she's never been there before but it's like a diner place with good food and great desserts. she loves sweets and candy (she acts 5 sometimes) and they have HUGE walls of just candy and fun stuff that i thought she might like............ but i dont want it to be "gay" idk.

hey Haste sound like you can handle the night yourself. There are a lot of ideas above that you can use. Be it recreating your first date,first kiss, a picnic or the ice cream parlor. Flowers is a must in my opinion, when I'm in a long term relationship I also always get flowers on the anniversary. Plus you don't have to go over board with flower (unless you screw up then lots of flowers. lol). Also try to make it a surprise for her, she'll probably like the fact that you remember the anniversary date.
Anyway lots of good advice from the others also, so make a plan and Storm the front, and have fun.

Jaxson's looks like a great place to take her - especially is she likes sweets!!! I think I may have to try and get by there next time I'm in Florida!!
