Sex, Is it really that important?

I know iwhat it feels liek but a bunch of my friends are virgins and they wish they could have so badley they date girls that are so incrediabley ugly just so they soften themup. Is there an age society say that in order to prove you a man you need it if you dont yi=our a loser but for a women she can be a virgin until marriage.

What age did you reach sex? If not then when do want to?

Yup hard to believe that i've been with a girl without sex. But sex doesn't have to do anything with us. We love eatch other and thats all we care about. I guess im the X-Treem oppisate. I started at 12 after i snuck out of my house and met my 14 yr old g/f infrount of her parents house nd we made whoppie on the driveway. Sence then it has been a very important thing im my life, but i had a serous problem with haveing sex and had to go to counsling. (don't make fun of this really.) Im with my fieonce and we have been together for 5 years in Aug and I have cheated on her a few times but we managed to work though it and somehow she stuck with me. Sex can be dangerous, sex can be fun, sex can also own your life. I say wait untill your ready don't worry about other people makeing fun there just pupming the dog's to make themselfs feel better, but they wont.

I don't think I can provide an age to tell when you are ready to have sex. The most important thing is you have to make sure you are ready for is any consequences that may arise from sexual activity (i.e. pregnancy, illness, etc). Sex is fun, it feels good, and provides a closeness in your relationship. But at the same time, it's not something to take lightly. I was 15 when I became sexually active and even though I was probably not mature enough to handle anything that could have happened, I knew the person I was with loved me. I knew in my heart that he would have stood by me no matter what. He is still to this day a very dear friend and holds a special place in my heart.

To answer the question you posed as your subject. Yes - if you are in a committed relationship and are mature enough to handle anything that comes with having sex, then it is important. If you are young and just want to have sex to say that you've had it - then you are doing it for the WRONG reasons.

Love is convenience. Sex is the nature of the beast. Why do we push people to have sex when they are 'married'? Jeez. There was a time when two 15 year olds could have a whole FLOCK of kids. Heck, they hit 25 and they could be grandparents (and often were!).

Sex is for pro-creation. The 'enjoyment' and feelings of 'need' of sex is mother-nature/god/whomever way of tricking you into pro-creating.

So - everytime you even THINK of having sex remember this - you are actively participating in the act of procreation. I don't care how many pieces of rubber you have on, what pills she is taking, or even the gallon of Mountain Dew you chugged right before - there is a darn good chance of successfully 'pro-creating'. The chance is a LOT higher then that of getting hit by lightning, tornados, hurricans, horses, and ugly chicks. Yet, we go out of our way to avoid THOSE minimal dangers.

Avoid the danger unless you are ready to change some diapers.

Sex is a necessity for healthy functioning adults. Problems arise in the teenage years because teens develop physically typically before they develop the ability to process mature emotions that often go along with sex. As Nikki said, you need to be aware of the possible consequences that go along with being sexually active. A few moments of pleasure can have a detremental effect on the rest of your life. No matter what age your are, practice safe sex.

While I was taking my medical examination for the Navy, I got to the point where I had to take off my clothes and have the doctor “feel” me. While he did so, he told me, "When you are financially capable of supporting a child then you may have sex, eventhen you still may not be prepared to raise a child, so always use contraceptives."

um, i guess i agree with everyone, sex is great, sex is lame, it's good with a bunch of women, one time each, it's great with that special someone, it's good when u know u can survive the possible outcome, it's better when ur drunk n wasted n can't think of the girls name ur with...

pretty much sex or love making either way has it's ups and it's downs, u get a diffrent feeling with a new person, yet u feel awkward when ur done, u get the same boring feeling with the same person, yet u feel better when it's over, u feel safe n so on, u feel good knowing that if a kid came from all this goodie goodie that you'll be alright, but it's a feeling of living on the edge when u dunno where this women beside you came from or even know if it's a woman,...

i think i'm giving bad advice but i'm trying to give the pros with the cons, pretty much in my POV, it's best to wait, n i've told two of my best friends this after doin my thing @ 16, n havin both of them go against what i said @ 18 and 23 n both regretting it and making asses out of themselves,

When you're young all your school mates make fun of the virgin, everyone pretends not to be a virgin. Now a lot of my friends (20-23) are virgins because he/she are waiting for the right person, religious reasons, etc. I won't ever tell them to hurry up, I respect them for waiting for their beliefs. If one of my friends ever did get with some random person, I won't tell them I disapprove. Sex is just fun to me, it shouldn't be looked down upon but celebrated.

Now I can't support a kid (well I could but I def don't want to), I don't even go for the motherly types if you know what I mean... (ahem, I do want to change this) but it won't stop me from having sex. We can all play the moral high ground here and say "You shouldn't have sex till you can support a child" but I have no regrets.

My RECOMMENDATION":
Id say sex should be special and is always well Spent with someone who you love. I know from experience because I was in love once and the sex was a mutual expression and celebration of our love and exploring and loving every bit of eachother to the slightest touch and every kiss if there is no passion then its all just action.

Its no big deal, its just having fun but can be more rewarding with someone special that your having it with.
