Im now becoming quickly one of the only virgins in my year, not to say i havent had the chance but...I seriously can't believe how sex is becoming so unpersonal if you get what I mean, its loosing its value rapidly.

Sex is an important part of a relationship but if it is or becomes the most important aspect then there is no ''real'' relationship. It can be the ultimate expression of love between two people.

Has anyone ever thought that if sex was unimportant then cheating would also be considered unimportant

It's pretty darn important for procreation . I helps build closeness and intimacy, relieves stress, gives comfort. Sex differentiates a romantic relationship from a platonic relationship.

Other wise outside a relationship i ould say no, can be a bit of confidence boost with the right person though
