Can't Seem to...

Ok... Im a freshmen in highschool, In all honsty i do not think im to young for a relationship.
I got a job, Not a good one, but i make above minimum wadge..
I don't know what i do wrong, i not mean, i dont talk alot, and when i do its either funny, or complimentory... What can i do to get some girls to like me?
I don't think im THAT bad looking... Average...

If you want to be liked by anyone, regardless of gender do two things:
1) Be comfortable in your own skin and be yourself.
2) Ask people questions about themselves. People LOVE to hear their own voices.

If you have a particular lady in mind. Figure out what she likes and do a little research on that subject before you make your move.

Never EVER think any woman is too good for you. And to play on what Dwinx said, always always just be yourself.

Women have an uncanny sense of being able to tell which guys are boasting, playing the role, acting tough, etc. Then they will tell their friends about you, and you'll wind up dancing with your best friend Ralph to Living on a Prayer at the school dance!

But, really, SemperFive, you should listen to these two guys. Don't be in such a hurry to get noticed! Your time will come, and you will eventually meet the right girl. I know it seems like you've been waiting forever, but just hang in there! Good things will come to you in time. Be yourself, and have fun with it! Don't spend too much time stressing about women!

Yes in time you will meet someone randomly and they'l take an interest in you.. it happens to me all the time.. you have to be patient..

standing out is a good way of getting attention (obviously standing out in a good way..) girls from my school love humour, so make the girls laugh! as well as decent gentleman type figures, also .. girls talk! so if your nice to one, they'l tell someone else and so on.. and build your reputation as been a nice guy.

Im not really worried about getting rejected, (and i dont really care what people think of me ^_^) its what happends after, Its like, if i have been friends with this person, and i ask them out, the whole friend relationship dies with it. I dont know if that happends to alot of people, or just around my town, but thats what im worried about. I have no problem asking someone i recently met. But if i knew them (Which is really the people who ive tried) They will say, "I like you more as a friend" and we never talk anymore. Id try to buy they cut me off... =\

hey that happens alot not just near you. have u ever try walking up to a not so close friend and asking her? sometime its the friends of your friend thats are better at dating then the direct friend.

If you have been good friends and you decide that you want to ask her out and perhaps change your relationship with her, she can either do one of two things:

1) Accept ~ Maybe she has the same feelings as you do.
2) Say "No thanks".

If she is mature and has respect for your friendship and for you, she will explain why. She may have valid reasons.

If she is a little immature, this whole thing might freak her our and she may seem distant and very different. It will make her very uncomfortable.

But I would think that a true friendship between two mature people will remain strong...no matter what.

There is this one girl i like, and im going to attempt to make a move...
I see her in Gym and World History, Im pretty sure she likes me, due to the notes and how she always looks my way after gym class, even though i leave at a seperate door, she looks back, i dont know if there is something there, but i look behind me and theres no one there.

this is true because my bff's parents got in trouble cuz of some, the other day i talked to him after he called me to chat and he didn't have a problem with the subject about his parents when i mentioned the subject.

just gotta be comfortable and confident then things will go good like mentioned above. if she says no there will be more girls to ask out that are into things you like to do.

Pwnzer is correct on this one, i went out with a very good friend and it didnt work out but we never lost the friendship we had it actually got better. I now think of that person as a sister and love her to death as a sister and she considers me a brother.
