I have a girlfriend.. been together literally a few days.. though valentines is coming up im going away on holiday so i miss it.. should i still bother getting something..?

or should i mention il miss it and wont get her anything.. or should i not bring it up at all??

I would definitely mention that you are going to be away for Valentine's Day. I'm sure that with the short time you have been dating she is not expecting any type of elaborate gift. Something small (candy and a card for example) would be appropriate in this situation - just to let her know you are thinking about her.
