I don't think time alone can be a factor when deciding whether or not to propose. You need to evaluate your relationship and make sure that this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with.

Proposing marriage to someone is a huge step forward and will change your relationship as it stands now. You need to make sure that you and your girlfriend are in a place that you are ready to take that step.

Keep us updated!!

Good Luck!

at 22 dont you think your slightly young for it all? when i reach that age im hoping im gonna travel the world and meet many new people.. rather than rush into marriage, though if you love her then you should tie the knot.. at the end of the day you yourself knows whats best

edge age really won't matter for marriage. I am 25 and have been married for 3 years on the 11th. I have 3 kids already as well. I have been with my wife since 2002 when we worked at cedar point together.

After 3 years we got married. Was supposed to be earlier but things didn't work out due to her family having a horridly immature divorce process. So all in all I got married at 22 lol.

I think it matters by the maturity and strength of your relationship. It also depends on whether you are ready to commit to that 1 person for the rest of your life like nikki stated.

also i think its cool to get married if youre sure..but otherwise youve nothing to lose by waiting

makes me sick when i think of the lack of commitment that ppl have that get divorced all the time...my parents divorced when i was young and i dont like to pity myself but it was tough for me

not saying you will do this..im just saying ppl have a tendency to rush into marriage for whatever reason...i myself will probably date a girl for 4-5 years before i get married to make sure im not making a mistake

Nomad,

Hey man its your choice what you want to do with your life and like Gatsu said that its not a young aage at 22, he got married then and look where hes at now. He has a family and eveerything is running smoothly. If you like the person and both agree to be with each other for the rest of you lives, then do it.

Good luck

I'm gonna take a different approach to this question bro. You just asked us if you should pop the question. That's telling me two things: you're thinking your relationship is in a place to think about marriage, but you have no idea if you should or not. I'd bet you're in a place where the two of you should be honest with eachother and possibly get down to the nitty gritty's and find out together. Those are the two cent's del Cranix! Things should work out soon as long as you dont hold your feelings to yourself, that'll make her uneasy bro.
