Problem with Peter =[

Alright first off to understand the story you need to understand the people.

Me - Peter: Hi im peter, im a sophmore in highschool, been going to my school ever since kindergarten ,i have tons of friends but 3 special guy friends, and tons of friends that are girls that are friends( cuz you know... im SOOOOOOOOOOOOO cool =])

Friends:Tofu, Kyle, Edmund, Lorelei

Tofu: no, his names not actually tofu, his real names Matthew, but we all call him tofu, anyways he's cool he's my FIRST best guy friend, where basically brothers, i go to his house everyday, hang out, play guitar together, go swimming together, go on myspace together.. everything.

Kyle: My other friend, he's alright he sometimes grinds my gears RAWR =OO, but he's alright

Edmund: He's basically the same as kyle... RAWR =]

Lorelei: i've known Lorelei ever since kindergarten, she's been a good friend ever since kindergarten. She's super sweet and super awesome =]

Alright so i've been going to school, all fun. wheeeeeee =]. So i found out Tofu has found a likeing to Lorelei, so i'm thinking ... uhh dude.. step off? she's my best friend thats a girl, hello? best friend code?... alright but then i started thinking: what kind of friend am i, stopping my friend from dating her.. you know what.. ima let him!! =]. so i dooooo. and they dooo....

Time Goes by!!!! Ed, Kyle, dont' care about waiting for tofu anymore, he always ditches us to go to Lorelei, and im all right i mean, i would do the same thing( Yeah, me n him. ladeezz men right? =] j/k j/k)

So they've been dating, but not dating. there always around school kissing , holding, but if i ask either of them they'll deny each other. Tofu is Wayyyy Jealous guy, like if lorelei even hangs out with a guy he thinks she's flirting with him. and lorelei is NATURALLY fliratious, i mean if i ask her why she flirts so much she says OMGSH PETER I DON'T, and i don't blame her, she's one of the most friendly girls i've ever met =].

Times go by!!... AGAIN!!

So, there still kissing.. hugging, all that stuff, tofu spends a teeeeeeny tiny amount more time with us guys. So im like w/e. now, and Lorelei is still fliraticious, and she's more friendly with me. I think it's because she knew that before, that i missed her being my friend =[ and that i missed my friend Lorelei.

I feel odd, i don't know why, I like lorelei, sometimes i think more then a friend, but im not like that, im not gonna step up to the girl whos with/ not with my bestfriend. And i don't have the guts to simply walk up to her or him and talk to them and tell them how i feel( IM TO MACHO =[ j/k j/k =[)

Well Peter, i may not be an SP admin or a relationship expert but we all know what your going through and il try help all i can,

Its quite common for best mates of the opposite gender to like eachother/the other, everyones been there.. thats why i believe you got defensive when you found out about your mate tofu liking lorelei, maybe you were hoping she would turn around to you and admit she always felt something for you..? i maybe wrong but thats what i've been through

As you say you feel to 'macho' to talk through it with them lol i know exactly what you mean.. its awkward.. no one wants to do it.. but maybe blend it into a convo your having.. so it seems you kinda dont care, just wondering kinda thing.. if you get me..

And you have loads of friends and loads of female friends, maybe get to know some more of them a lil better.. but obviously not so much you ditch your best friends.. as you dont want to turn into the thing you most hate

Whatever happens your still going to be best mates with Lorelei no matter what, and i doubt her and tofu will last forever, theres plenty of lasses out there waiting for you

When you get older, it is "macho" to communicate, instead of holding your tongue.

When I was younger, I wished I would have been more open with my feelings, both with guy friends and girl friends. A lot of drama and issues can arise because of misunderstood intentions, lack of communication, etc.

I would try to discreetly ask both of them, what their intentions are with the other person. I would also ask her why she seems extra flirtatious with you.

ehhh hey, havne't been on a lot. finals, projects, school... stuff like that =] anyways... the latest update would be that, now their offically dating.. and stuff, and me and the guys dont really care, he trys and hangs out with us more =].

Sidenote: Tofu and lorelei are ALWAYS on and off, every week, is the same, monday tuesday, fine, wednsday, thursday, a fight, friday saturday, work it out, sunday, all good. and the cycle repeats itself, during the days that their off, she's usually with me, she likes to hold onto me, and rup her face on my arm, then i usually say something like.. ey.... you smell bad =], for fun. and we'd laugh.

but when the day ends, she'd say, something like hey peter, wheres my boyfriend( reffering to tofu) so i know i don't mean anything to her.. i just feel really akward... and stuff.....

point of what im saying: is that normal? should i be a better person or something?
