You dont like it so you bitch. When we march in the streets it’s for a holiday or for something American that we need to fix....not to cry about some other country who has something we want. Youmess with us....you get your ass...you become a partner, you benefit.
Israel is a partner. They built a country out of the desert. They don’t take their young and teach them to blow up Arabs or Americans just for a bunch of virgins. Life is important to them. When Sadham landed a scud in an American camp the Palestinians celebrated. Why shouldn’t we back Israel? The Palestinians were thrown out of Syria and Egypt. When i had an american flag, they wouldnt even dare to do anything for me. Its amazing how much difference it makes.

A couple of things wrong with what Tommy said....another interpretation for what he said about up being impulsive and going to "steal oil" and them being thoughtful and reserved....these could be interpreted also as having big balls and being scared....now I don't agree with what we did in Iraq mainly because the reasons we went over are not the reasons we stayed. But in afganistan, I have a different oppinion....I want Osama's A*s mounted on the Oval Office's wall...having more people doesn't mean having more money.....what is it, 1 in 5 humans are muslim? Other than the one's that own countries or oil wells, we are talking about some of the poorest people on earth. Also China has over a billion people...3 times as much as us.....lots of countries are critical of the US....but you can put most of them in 1 of 2 catagories....ones that we have "saved their ass" or ones the "have had their ass handed to them" ...I don't have a problem with Canado...but your health care sucks! Sure its provided...but you get provided processed hamburger, while we have accect to prime rib...also nice taxes you pay up there

I rarely get into the politics section here at spawnpoint...but I figured I'd stop by for this:

That says a lot I think. America is great in a lot of ways, but you cant really do anything that is really fun unless you buy a permit. Think about it, this is the only country on the planet where you can get arrested for burning some trash in your backyard. Hell, when I lived in Ireland, I would torch whole fields and the worst that would happen is the fire department came and put it out. No questions asked. If I burned somthing here that required the fire department, I would get 8-12 months for arson.
Just last fourth of july I almost got arrested for lighting a fewsparklers at once, cops said it could be considered arson, when it was in the middle of a damp field in an industrial park. No joke. I have it on video.

Crappy health care ? Huge taxes ? Geee iwonder why. Put them together son. We pay huge taxes because we have Free Health Care, which also pays for out education, and many other government things we have, not going to get specific. How do you ever possibly think we have terible helath care ? We dont pay for it, and we have the best system in the world lol. If i went to the states, and took a heart attack. It would be over $15000 a day in the hostpital. And no thats not a joke, my grandpa went to florida and this happed to to him.

But i will correct myself. America didnt ONLY goto war for the oil. Thier are some other small altercations like saddam, but they got him, and still pushing threw the sand to find any other small rats to kill. But i can promise you the oil was on there top 10 list for reasons why to start another war.

Fact- Did you know in the entire history of the world not 1 iraqi has ever killed an american or canadian ? Yet we go over there and kill thousands.

back to the health care... Hamburger ? What the hell are you talking about? Does anyone really care what your eating aslong as your health is getting better. If im dying from kidney failure im pretty sure i wouldnt worry to much as to my dinner. If its going to be prime roast or hamburger. And ive been in my own hostpital, I was not eating hamburger lol. This doesnt even have anything to do with the hostpital anyways. (to bad those doctors cant cook, all that tax paying for nothing !)

Hmm.. Canada doesnt have any enimies. So when would America need to "Save our ass's." W'ere always helpig other countries, and also yours. When was the last time we had a Terrorist attack ? Or any type of attack, or any reason to goto war, or atleast shoot up another country.

Since 9/11 there are so many reasons bush could of planned the entire thing, but im not going to get into that. We will find out the real truth in the future.

Did any of you ever hear of a man from the 1600's names nostra domus ? Im not an expert on him but i was reading some stuff about his predictions. In the 1600's he predicted the london fires 30 years before it happends. He also predicted 3 world wars and thier exact date. He predicted WWI and WWII but he also predicted a World War Three. It apprently wil start in 2009 and last till 2027. He predicted that "Flying pigs would crash into the hallow mountains on 9/11" Flying pigs would be pilots (remember the face mask they wear?) and the hallow moutians would be the twin towers. If you look at NY from the coast, all the buildings look like a mountain line.

Another prediction was 2 of the devils sons would cause destruction world wide. He called one of them Hitler, except it wasnt exactly hitler, he called him something close to that name. The next devils son was "O homa" being Osoma Binladin. But actually his real same is said "Ohoma" the S is silent. Most of us didnt know that.

This man made thousands of predictions in the 1600's because he had these visions. Since the 1600's not 1 of his predictions were wrong. I dunno if i belive him but we will find out in 2009 wont we

I wasn't going to bother getting involved in this one, but Tommy's last post was such an incredible mess of misinformation and misunderstanding what others said.
Let's start with health care in Canada. Sorry Tommy, but Canada does not have the best health care in the world. According the the World Health Organization's 2000 World Health Report, the latest to rank all countries by total health care instead of by specific catagories of health care, Canada did rank slightly higher than the US, but didn't even make the top 20. Canada came in at #30 and the US was #37. The World Health Organization's 2005 Human Development Index also rated Canada higher than the US, with Canada beign ranked 5th and the US ranked 10th. However, the HDI does not include a country's health care rank, and the only health indicators used to calculate rankings are average life span and infant mortality rate. It should also be noted that the World Health Report rankings are based on the averages for each nation as a whole, and the rank of the US was brought down significantly by the high percentage of the population that is uninsured and under insured and therefore unable or unwilling to obtain care due to financial constraints. The US does rank #1 for per-capita healthcare spending and has far more medical facilities in the top 100 than any other country.

I'm not going to bother getting into the argument over why the US invaded Iraq. Give me facts and figures and I might, but I'm not going to bother with conjecture, consipracy theories, and angry rhetoric.

Your little "fact" about how "in the entire history of the world not 1 iraqi has ever killed an american or canadian" is total crap and I can't even fathom how you managed to invent that and convince yourself of it. I'm going to guess that what you were trying to say was that the Iraqi Government has not killed any Canadian or American civilians, but even that wouldn't be true. Please, before you start throwing "facts" around go look up the definition of the word and find real facts to back up your arguments instead of making things up and claiming they are facts.

The "hamburger vs. prime rib" comment made by XTR3M3 is what is known as an analogy. What it meant was that Canadian health care is like hamburger, inexpensive enough for everyone but generally not that great, while the American health care system is like prime rib, it costs more but what you get is a lot better (if you can afford it).

Read up on Canadian (and world) history before making absurd claims. Beleive it or not Canada has gone to war before and called on the US for aid. I'm not sure what you're referring to with "always helping other countries, including yours" but the fact is that the US consistantly gives far more economic, military, and medical aid to other countries than any other country in the world.

I'd love to see where you got your so called Nostradamus (it's one word by the way..it's his last name..and he died in 1566 not the 1600s) predictions. I've seen similar ones in various hoax emails, but if you ever actually read any of his writings instead of just blindly accepting as real whatever someone forwarded to you in a chain email you'd find out that he didn't make ANY of the predictions you are attributing to him. He didn't predict the London Fires, he didn't predict the world wars (nevermind the dates...seriously kid, try reading the actual source material you claim to be quoting...I took the time to do it, why don't you?), he didn't predict Hitler (the line you are trying to refer is Hister sera, which was the name of a PLACE along the Danube River at the time Nostradamus wrote that, not the name of a person), he didn't predict 9-11, and nowhere in any of his writings is there anything even close to what said about Bin Laden. Again, please learn to read the actual source material before quoting it and claiming it as some kind of proof.
I have no idea where you got your flying pigs thing from, but it's dfinately not Nostradamus. He never wrote anything about flying pigs.
