Aliens, Fake?

For all you Christians ( Whitch I Am ) that they probanly belive that theres NO aliens, unless you havent read a single word of the Bible, because The Bible Says: God created man in his own image

NOT aliens ( So They Be Fake )

Im not trying to start an argument about religions or anything, just whether you think aliens are real or not and for what reasons.

I feel that somewhere out there the law of averages means that on one planet there must be some form of intelligent life.

Do I think that if Einstein is right and we can never go faster than the speed of light, and barring any folding of space or wormholes that we will ever meet them? No.

i think that what i have to say cant be said here but i can say that the universe inst unlimited for no reason there's other things out there that fill the skies and seas who knows they might even fill the galaxies.

Fact(to me =]) theres over 100 species of aliens/unknown species.

some are closer to god than us.

I genuinely belive we are on the only inhabitable planet in the universe, aliens are a nice concept but if there were remotely any other lifeforms in the universe we'd have basically 0 chance of actually encountering them.

I too am Christian but I have had something bothering me ever since I was a Christian, What would happen if something proved the Bible wrong? Then could other storeies in the Bible not be real? This has bothered me for a long time.

God did create man in his own image, thats correct, but if you really know the bible, the words of God are all in parables. The "men" God created have his personality, not his exact image! If we were made in his image, we would all look practically the same hope this helps you in the future when trying to explain things about the bible.

If you believe that sorta thing (which I don't) then God made 'the heavens' which one must assume means all the other planets and solar systems in the known (and unknown) Universe.... how arrogant then to assume He didn't also populate a few those other planets with intelligent life? Just because our Book says what it says doesn't mean other books (or whatever the aliens holy men equivalent call it!) don't say something else out there!

Not knocking anyones beliefs but science already casts doubt on the Bible doesn't it?

Dont forget the bible wasnt all 100% true, they didnt have printers in them days so the storys in the bible were either wrote down or talked about, so you dont know if anyone has changed anything ect and would it be the same...

Tbph, i think the most about "aliens" you could find would be little things the size of ants on the moon ect that all i could think of

Because they have no power unto themselves. It is the blind faith and the choice to believe in something that gives holy scripture their power.

By stating the above you have already started a religious debate. Simply saying you don't believe in something because the Bible says so or not doesn't really give you an open mind as to whether these things may or may not exist. What you should have asked was "Does anyone believe in aliens" and stopped there. How can you have a serious debate when your answers will be all based on what the Bible says or what you have been taught to believe.

I am not going to say anything else on the religious side of this debate (unless promted otherwise).

I believe that there is life outside our own planet. It would be nice if they were just like the grey's from the movies, flying by once and a while and abducting an oddball every now and then to probe them silly and return them back to their beds before anyone has noticed they are missing, but I don't think that's how it is.

So yes I believe that there may be life out there, just not the "alien" kind we see in the movies and on TV.

Aliens, does it even matter? I mean really, if some form of life exists beyond our atmosphere what are the chances we would ever see "it" or make contact at all? Plus, what are the chances of another planet being able to support life? Is not earth something like 1 in 10^56 or something? then add the factor that the chance for intelligent life to exist is extremely small and you have a statistical chance of 0. It's very probable that earth is the only planet with life.

The bible is not really good support either way here, was not its purpose in being written so the topic is not addressed. Reading for knowledge of aliens in the bible leads nowhere and just ends with confusion, division and frustration. keep things in context.
