So, it's McCain vs. Obama.

I say McCain will do it! Although I do like Obama, McCain has much more experience and I would def sleep better at night and feel safer if McCain were to be elected. That, and the fact that I am a diehard Republican kinda sways me towards McCain!

P.S. Clinton only "suspended" her presidential race! I wonder what that means for her delegates...they are still hers. Could this mean a possible bid for the Vice presidency?!?!?!?! We women work in such mysterious ways sometimes!

I think the presidential debates will be the decider. If McCain wants to have any chance, he should just avoid debates at all costs.

And then with Obama's incredibly articulate speeches and strong presence in a room, I really don't see how McCain can even manage 40% of the votes.

Also, when FOX News bashes your speeches AND you're the republican candidate for president, you know they really suck.

In politics, when a candidate suspends their hopes in running in the presidential race, it means basically postpones it. Most of the time when someone suspends their candidacy in a presidential race it means that they will run again, and the next time around Obama should and would back her in the race by endorcing her.

I'm going with Titan here. I feel Obama will win and beat McCain. One thing that I really liked about Obama was on the suspense of the Gas Tax he was like No way because that would just add to our growing debt. He at least wasn't trying to gain support there by being like I would do and then not but he told us the truth. I would just like to hear more from him about issues than about him "changing" America. (On that issue, my friends and I had a little laugh when we tried to look at his 100 pages or so of his policy only for it not to load. Talk about not having a policy )

It will be close unless McCain shoots himself in the foot which he has the capabilities of doing while Obama is quite good with words and I don't see that issue coming up for him

Whether or not Obama wins, it's a good thing for the country to see that a black man can get that high up the food chain. Win or lose -- it's only a matter of time before we have a Latino.. or Female.. or Black.. man as president.

Hilary might be as bad for Obama as VP as she is good. The local news says that half of his supporters don't want her as his VP....it will be interesting to see who he chooses as a running mate...much more important than the one McCain chooses in my opinion.

I'd like to see McCain pick Mitt Romney as his V.P. candidate. That would seal it for me!

I'd like to see Obama choose Edwards as his Vice President, because many Americans like Edwards so have him as VP can only better him.

One of the Kennedy's could be a possibility too.

That would put my vote back to McCain....I don't like Edwards' views/potential policies. Many of us potential ex-Repubs don't. I do believe we need change and we will not get it with McCain in my opinion....not enough anyway. The only thing that scares me about Obama is how he expects to pay for some of his programs like health care that he is talking about implementing. My taxes are high enough as it is and borrowing more money from China and/or other countries to pay for it is as ludacris as borrowing the money to pay for the war in Iraq.

What would help me is if Obama picks a running mate that is either centrist or right of center politically....conservative, and a personal rights activist. The Dems around hear say they are about protecting our rights but are the first ones to take the ones away that don't fit their personal agenda...like my gun ownership right, property rights, ect.

I do think that Hilary and Obama are oil and water...not to mention that it is no big secret that Obama's wife doesn't like her.
