Makes one stop and think after reading this


Michael Richards makes his point...



Michael Richards better known as Kramer from tv's Seinfeld, does make a good point.


This was his defense speech in court after making racial comments in his comedy act.


He makes some very interesting points.

Proud To Be White
Someone finally said it.
How many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans, Mexican Americans,
Asian Americans, Arab Americans, etc.

And then there are just Americans.

You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.

You Call me 'White boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,'
'Whitey,' 'Caveman' ... and that's OK.



But when I call you, Nigger, Kike, Towel head,
Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey, Beaner, Gook, or Chink ...

You call me a racist.



You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you,

so why are the ghettos the most dangerous places to live?


You have the United Negro College Fund.


You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Yom Hashoah.
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.
You have the NAACP.
You have BET.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television) we'd be racists.

If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month , we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites
to 'advance'
OUR lives we'd be racists.


We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,


a Black Chamber of Commerce,


and then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that?


A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American pageant,


but any color can be in the Miss America pageant.


If we had a college fund that only gave white students


scholarships you know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the US.


Yet if there were 'White colleges'


THAT would be a racist college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were
marching for your race and rights.


If we marched for our race and rights,


you would call us racists.


You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and orange, and
you're not afraid to announce it.


But when we announce our white pride,


you call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us.


But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member or


beats up a black drug-dealer running from the law and posing a threat to society,


you call him a racist.



I am proud.

But you call me a racist.


Why is it that only whites can be racists?



There is nothing improper about this e-mail.

I can understand where he's coming from but even so it's not really politically correct in todays modernistic society.

His comments weren't part of his comedy act, someone heckled him, he lost his temper and hurled a load of racist abuse at them. It was nice to see that most of the audience walked out.

This defence seems to miss the point, proud to be white has nothing to do with it. You can be proud to be white without hurling racist abuse at anyone who isn't white.

I'm proud to be British, does this make it ok for me to yell ni**er at at black guy and make references to slavery? No.

He's trying to make it sound like he's being persecuted for being white, he's not, it's because he's racist. I'm not even going to get started on the points he makes in his defence.

I was going to say I'm proud to be white, but if that means associating myself with racist idiots like Michael Richards, then I guess embarrassed is closer.

I would like to point out all other holidays, if not specifically ethnic, are typically 'white'.

However - the controversy and the distaste in many middle-white-american (especially males) over this subject is going to become a point of dispute at some point in our society.

I was especially disturbed recently to see on the news the typical double standard of passive acceptance when a white male quadriplegic in a wheel chair while under arrest for a traffic violation was dumped out on the station floor to be frisked by a black female Police officer.

Can you imagine what would've happened if the roles had been reversed - if some white cop dumped a crippled black person out of their wheel chair and down on the floor. Well, needless to say we didn't see Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, or the ACLU rush to get on the news to denounce the incident.

No doubt, there is a double standard.

... just to follow up, the black Deputy was suspended without pay, arrested and charged with some form of assault, and the white guys has spoken with an attorney.

Seriously i brought this up in a change room at school before p.e
One of my friends called my other friend a cracker and my other friend retaliated and called him a "Nigga" My friend snitched and got my other friend suspend for muttering a racial remark but it doesn't work that way for white students. And my other friend the next p.e class was running around the gym while we where playing dodgeball yelling "Black power" I would love to see a White kid do this and witness the result.

I Hate the way some black people act (Thugs)
I Hate how white people try and replicate something like being a thug just so he can feel "Good" In a morally corrupt society.
I Also hate how middle eastern people come FOB and start trying to bend OUR laws to suite them even though they are foreign to this country.
I support that new law passed in Australia. (Alpha made a thread about it)

Wow i'm speechless, but i agree with slayer there was a simular situation that i once saw involving my friend and this black chic, nobody got in trouble but boy did that girl give him a speech

Oh yeah theres a case in brampton where a Pakistani man was given a traffic violation for not wearing a helmet on a motorcycle hes now fighting it saying that its against his religion to wear a helmet.

If i was the judge, Appeal denied.

Actually, I agree, if we are cauc. we are probably from Europe blood line.

I personally am German-American, as my mother is German, and all my siblings are still in Germany. But i do not go around touting I am German-American.

What would it get me. nothing. But we do seem to shake when a African-American looks at us for maybe saying the in appropriate word in his or her presence.

If you people saw the NBC news last week, you noticed the Censis report.

It basically stated that the white dude, will be the minority in 2020. The Hispanics, will be I belive 55% , I am going from recall.

The Hispanic has like 5 kids per family where the Blacks have 2.5, and the whites have 1.5

Now you better learn Spanish, if you want to assimilate.
