Truth is there are 130 million less pot smokers in Canada then in the USA .
We have far less pot smokers per capita then in the USA .We grow far less pot here than in the U.S.A. .Although I have been told ours is much better quality ...lol
We have less murders in our country in a year then the USA has in just one of its semi-major cities .

Our health care system is second to none in the entire world . IE Princess Margarett Health Science Center is world renowned for its cancer research . Name one illnnes I can get treatment for In the good old USA for thousands of dollars , I can't find treatment for in Canada for free . Last time I went to the hospital was Dec 24th/2008 .I went by ambulance with a blocked bowel .I was in surgery within 3 hours and I was back home January 5th .I received daily visits with a nurse provided by the hospital at no expense and now am back playing CSS .I only wish Americans had the same level and quality of health care....that is my only poiint .

No matter how good anyone's health care system is ...If your told to go home because you have no money ...it's worthless. I know the truth can sometimes be painful but never as much as being told you need to go back home and die because you can't afford to be treated at our hospital .

Why should the rich be able to buy life in the U.S.A. ?

I hope you get a president that will tackle the health care issue .As I really do not beieve a single person would not wish to have universal healthcare in your country accept those who invest in HMO's . I am on your side and only wish the best for all my American friends and family who spend their winters in Florida .

I suppose you're correct. I'm personally a libertarian by belief, so I think that money should pave the way rather than the government.

Money does pave the way for our Health Care System ....We are taxed just a little more so it is all paid for . Each Province however has a Health Budget . Some Provinces collect no tax at all for Health Care ...While in Ontario we pay around $180.00 a year deducted from our taxes .However those making less than $18,000.00 per year pay no taxes .But for Example : I am retired and make a yearly pension of $38,000.00 from 31 years spent at General Motors...The income Tax I was charged last year was $410.00 at the end of the year when I did my taxes .

The thing is the government keeps a lid on Health costs here .This is why so many Americans come here for their medicine...It's about 30% cheaper and not sold for a large profit by private investors .Those who develop a certain pill for example have exclusive rights to market it for 3 years I believe .Then other companies can use that technology and come up with their own brans of the same pill and this causes competition and drives the price down .

Having said all that ....The USA is the world leader in research , diagnostics and plastic surgery.

This is the one single benefit of free market health care ....Because those who invest in research and come up with things like "viagra" , there are billions of dollars to be made .The Canadian Government doaes however invest in all kinds of research and development but it chooses to limit that research to specific research . IE : Cancer and the "mating habits of moose"....
