"Your hacking!!!!" Gets old.

Ok, Today I've been all around spawnpoint servers. Mostly assault. I'm just wanting to rant about it because I get tired of hearing about it lol. Just blowing off some steam. Players that call other players hackers, And just keep going off on them, And then they dont do anything about it. I was just in a server, They thought this guy was hacking. I'll admit He was getting some good kills, But I've known the guy for awhile, I dont think he hacks. (Nismo) Anyways, I speced him for awhile, Seemed legit. But these players kept calling him a hacker. And then being plain rude. I was trying to type to them. They killed me lol cause of me typing, And This guy "Grr" Or something Was mouthing about killing me from behind 2 times while i was typing, I didnt say anything. But they kept calling him a hacker, People should learn to demo players if they believe they hack, why call someone a hacker over and over again? It doesnt do anything. That was just one example, Ive seen it just 3 times today, And tried to explain to them, But what do they do? Just keeping saying "hacker!,Hacker!!,HACKER!!!!!" Guess some players just like doing it I guess, A reason why they are losing, Or because someone is better then them. This will NEVER stop happening tho =P

Yeah, we get quite a few demos of Nismo, non have shown him cheating. I understand why people think he does though, he's one of those annoying players who makes use of all the visual and sound information available.

On assault there are so many little things that can give a players position away. Shadows through floors are a main one, this can give away a players position on the roof, in the vents or on the overpass. Someone with a comp that struggles to cope with assault might have shadows off, so someone using the shadows showing through floors to get kills will just look like a wallhacker.

You've just got to remember that some people are a lot better than you, have better computers and bigger monitors.

See, that's the thing, when I play Assault, I take the "moral high grounds" and try and not foot snipe and not kill anyone on the roof running around, even though their shadows are showing.

I only shoot people that are in vent cause honestly, their feet are showing. Oh, and the people that stick their guns through the walls or doors. I shoot those people too.


Oh, and Nismo does seem legit, and that he's really good.

yah if i ever think that someone is [u]seriously[u] hacking then il report them or demo but most of the time with people i know it for kicks because it gets them going

if there is a way, or a mod, spawnpoint should put ina word mod or something so when people say "Your A hacker" or any think close to that it should slay them. I mean if there is an admin in there and hes doing that when he is just getting mad about being killed. If there isn't a mod like that then somone make it!

Spawnpoint should use the re-route.exe to send all the people who say "He is a hacker" into a hacking server! XD. I like being called a hacker. I play under a variety of names because I am admin and I am trying to catch a couple regular hackers...It is a kick when you change your name back and they are speechless.

When i say people are hacking im usually kidding, especially in cases like jerry's, but if i really think so, after stating it, i spec them for a little bit to see if anything is fishy, or if the continuous headshots etc. were lucky. Most often I find myself wrong, but if im right i just tell somone i think/hope will demo it
if i find that they seem legit ill usually correct myself, and others too

i havnt attempted it yet, but im finding it likely that my computer wont be able to handle demoing, while css is running

And having admins demo and ban me becuse they think I'm hacking is the best. I love when that happens

I must admit I get frustrated for numerous reasons when players start openly accusing another player of hacking.

For starters, (if they are hacking) it gives the hacker an advance notice that he/she has drawn unwanted attention to themselves and often times they then shut off the hacks or quickly leave before a successful demo has been completed. Hence it’s just a little longer before the “long-arm-of-the-law” can catch up with them lol…….

Secondly, it quickly becomes a distraction to the rest of the players on the server. Far too often a voice of inexperience yelps, “He’s hacking!” yada yada yada, only for me to take the initiative and become a spectator, observe for few rounds and determine that the player is not in fact hacking. It’s not until I return saying, “they look clean to me.” That everyone then settles back into just playing.

Having said that, I would encourage everyone to refrain from publicly announcing there accusations, and take a proactive approach, enter spectator, and see for themselves. Or seek out an Admin and let them come in stealth mode.

That's the thing though, most players aren't familiar with the way things are run here on SP, thus not aware that a demo w/ status is submitted to the ACT before any sort of bans can happen, so they just yell at admin to ban the guy, real hacker or not.

And the other thing is, not everyone has a trained enough eye to spot hackers that are good at hiding their hacks. Good wall hackers are hard to catch, because they behave as though they are just very good at the game. Eventually, they slip up, and the good admins will catch them in the act.

Most people, however, will not willingly admit to everyone that a single person is better than almost the entire server, thus cries hacking, so that they will not look as bad. These are the people that play with a close mind, and are unwilling to open their eyes to learn to better their game play by observing these great players that can join a server and immediately ace the entire other team (which I've only done once). These are the same people that will start crying "hacks" everytime they get killed more than 2 rounds in a row.

Far too many times have wallers left/turned offthe hak when some1 just blabs out HACKER!
But I do see TJ taking more initiative in specing people.
