Family Game. HA!

So im doding it, and i swear in a server and someone says This is a family game and server dont swear. LIKE WHEN THE HECK DID KILLING BECOME A FAMILY EVENT?! A family game would be hmmm..... Risk, Monopoly, Labrinth Etc. NOT DOD AND CS Where the whole point of the game is to Kill the other team and get better at doing it as each round ends. If a Group is more worried about a 12 year old who bought the game online hears a swear word, goes to his momy n daddy and says you St***d B***h and your not worried about the fact that they Ilegally own the game are underaged and killing people than in my mind you have some messed up pshyc problems.


I hope no one takes this personal just venting some DOD anger. I got Owned.

LOL Seroone, I know what you're saying. Lots of folks say the same thing in game, when I flash my "Please watch the language. Thanks." warning.

The game is 18+ or w/e...but the servers are not. They are family friendly servers, for players of all ages (as long as they can follow the rules). We're not saying you can't do what you may be use to...drop an f-bomb here and there...just DON'T press the mic key!!!

How is Risk deemed a 'family game' to you but not css or dod?
In risk do you not sweep the world killing entire armies at the roll of a dice? hmm..?

You say "LIKE WHEN THE HECK DID KILLING BECOME A FAMILY EVENT?!" when in fact the literal act of killing never has been or will be a family event, playing a GAME however can be and in that respect it is very acceptable not to allow people across the internet to be abusive, racist or offensive toward any other player in that GAME.

Murder is not commited when playing css or dod in my mind unless you have some messed up psych problems!

Theres nothing that solves pent up frustration like a good old rant though eh! ;-)

Well said, I agree the game is a 18+ but it is the end users decision to play the game, now whether that is a parent or an individual it doesn't matter. The fact is that players DO kill on there virtually BUT making the link between that and REAL killing is like saying you shouldn't play driving games because you haven't got a licence...

We choose to operate a friendly and mature environment here. You don't need to swear in the server to have a good time. If you need to rant and swear after dying, or cuss someone else out on the server - do it in the privacy of your own home, while not holding down the mic button - not in my living room
