SpawnPoint - Where Game Begins

I bought a Wii and it's been setting in closet. Plan was to save it for Xmas but it won't last that long.

Question: what's the best wiimote charging system?

I read the wiimote sucks up a lot of batteries plus my 5 year old has the sweatiest hands that I've ever seen. I seen various charging systems and covers but they aren't very compatible with each other.

I must have been lucky to find my Wii. Didn't see what the big deal was but found it relatively quick at a national chain website.
