Lineage II - Tried it out!

I'm impressed - I had a DEMO of the game at NCSOFT this week. The Kamael itself looks - really - awesome.

yea i've looked into the game a few times or so, debating whether to try it out or not.

i used to play lineage 2
got up to i think level 63, but unless you plan on botting it really doesnt work out, because everyone else bots and ncsoft doesn't do anything about it
the grind is riidculous (why everyone bots) and at 63 i would get about maybe 2-3% of a level per 20 minutes
at the higher levels, as in around 75 or higher, it gets to be about 1% an hour
not to mention when you die you'll be losing up to 4% of a level

last i checked lineage2 was dying
it was fun sometimes when i played it. I met some great people and the pvp system is awesome, but given the horrendous grind and the fact that people who bot over those who try to grind it up legit, i would say it just isn't really worth playing.

I also used to play L2, but it takes SOOOOO LONG to level.

Other then that the game is beautiful graphically and has an uber PvP system with awesome classes to chose from.

But I just don't have enough time on my hands to be grinding.

I've wanted to try that game forever,
but now that i see theres really no point :P
Botting would just ruin it for me :S
