here the thread most guys have been waiting for!!! the thread for those of us GUYS that are mechanicly inclined. what kind of car do ya want for a project car or truck and for your engine, tranny, differential, lift kit(yes , no if yes then how much height or drop), tire size, tire style(dot approved, non dot approved off road, non dot approved drag tires, dot approved drag, or dot approved off road), what gear ratios,turbo(s) or supercharger, blower, gauges, etc.........

I work with all you mentioned above for 10hrs a day 6 days a week, once I stop doing that for a living I might have fun on a dream project, until then I HATE CARS :P

Well, I have a 240sx w/ an SR swap. Suspension, wheels, brakes, pretty much everything's been modified.

Last night I changed a little bit of the rear suspension's setting and now the car's all weird, so after work tonight I have to kinda change it back to the way it was and hopefully that fixes it.

because in my opion it looks good and theres no such thing as trafic to me, that thing will easily crawl over anything in my way and keep going. im a 4x4 guy through and through. hurray german engineering.

awesome.
One car i wanna have for a project car would be a 1968 chevelle SS with a chevy 442 or 572, supercharger, direct port nitrous oxide, 6 piston caliper brakes, cross drilled and slotted routers, racing seats with 5 point seat belt harness, 5 point roll cage, old school rims, old school beefy rear tires, tri-angulated suspension, fuel injection, and cams. for a truck i would like The Diesel Page, Member Duramax Trucks 1st 2nd 6th 7th or 8th trucks on this link.

Why don't you slap real money in our real faces instead?

I'd like you to do that so I can knock you out and take all that money from you, instead of you flaunting it all over the place.

However, all that stuff and your wheels suck, so I guess that's the 1 thing I can still poke fun at you over.

Hah, yeah, the wheels do need a serious upgrage
But I'm not flaunting money, it's partially tax returns and that
I make more than enough to buy all this stuff

If you ever get to choose between the 2 Chevelle's, I recommend the 442

why the 442?? also i only mentioned one chevelle but i would have 2 one for dragging and one as a daily driver.For The drag racing one i would the 572 and the daily with the 442 i think.

There's no real need for big blocks. You can make 700+HP with a smallblock if you tune it right, and are willing to push the needle past the red a bit.
Personally, I run a 305 TBI 1992 Camaro RS. 5-speed manual now, although I plan on doing some upgrades. I've redone the exhaust and just some regular tuneup work, nothing major. Over the summer I'm going to switch to tpi (probably start with a stock 305 tpi, and eventually swap for a 350). I'll have the only manual 305 tpi XD. I plan on eventually going to the LS2, and a t-56, but I'll have to upgrade the driveline before I get to that point.
I think I want to do a drag car as a project, I've been thinking about a 3rd gen firebird just because they're so cheap. I'd get a 350 TPI and gut the thing out.
My dream car: a mid 70's firebird. (preferablly 75). Red, with the real induction hood. Manual, of course.
