It is in the talking that spawnpoint might launch a customized page for our articles, and the general idea is for the girls of gaming "a la spawnpoint". I'm not sure yet what it's all gonna be like, because it's still just in the talking, like I said.

So here's the thing. What would you like to see? What colors? theme? got some good ideas? etc...

I was thinking maybe going with the original SP theme, but instead of it being green, it could be in red or purple tones.

I'd like to see some links to some cool girls of gaming related websites, or more articles written by us women about our experiences in each our own sides of gaming. The idea is to make it our page.

SO, since nobody's pitching in ideas and such, here's a little example of what it could look like:

Weaver, Nikki and I kinda brainstormed a little bit last night, and thought it'd be cool to maybe try a java chat application. That way, we could all chat directly on the site.

Other ideas are; we will have the girls' features directly on the page, access to blogs, the forums ofcourse, links to girl clans, tournaments, events etc. Maybe an occasional contest or two, and some miscellaneous features that are of women interests (health, beauty etc) just as a little bonus.

So, what do you guys think? like the idea? got any more suggestions?

This is a tough one Sapphi. I need to rly think about this one.

From my own personal view...I'd like to know more about the who's who in the gaming world. There must be some pretty good female gamers out there. I know nothing about that, so that's one area that we can have info on.

Maybe a recipe share...don't laugh, I'm serious! I LOVE to cook!

We'd also need something to attract the younger generation...early - mid teens. I know.....BOYS!

Health issues??? or better yet Health info for women (excercise, diet, sports....)

I'll think more on this today.

hahha no worries pwnzer! Actually I love your idea for recipes! We could call it "The Pwnage Recipes" lol . Cuz we all know that gamers need to eat good foods too

I love cooking too, and I know I can contribute a whole lot to that.

And the health thing was targetted as general and mainly women's health. Because some things can work both ways (like a segment on quitting smoking for example). Stuff that would be useful to know to feel better, and be healthier (not lazy and careless couch-potato gamers in other words lol)

See, it all related to gaming in some sens lol. And I'm sure it would attract more girls to the site, since it's got a little bit of everything!...

About the teen thing, that's an idea! Maybe have an entertainment segment or something like that, and Nikki could have an "Ask Nikki" column about boy advice lol.

Really not trying to be s party pooper here.. but the normal diet for about 99% of the people here is Red Bull, Pizza, and Chips. You could teach us how to make our own pizza (microwave + Red Baron = success!!) Or maybe a cool homemade energy drink recipe (coffee? zomg). you'd need to integrate it with things gamers enjoy. It would be tough.

LOL! Don't worry hun, it'll deffinitely be fun and yummy recipies and easy to do... no crazy fancy restaurant stuff :P

I think the recipe idea is fantastic!! I love to cook too and am always looking for new things to try out.

If you do a recipe page, I give you my chili recipe, so slayer doesn't have to eat that canned stuff anymore.

I'd be interested in recipes, I don't exactly love cooking, but I really like eating good food and cooking your own is the cheapest and healthiest way to eat good food.

I'm happy people love the cooking idea! I think it's a great idea too, aspecially since I'm concerned about our youth's eating habits... I love cooking, as a matter of fact, I'm still debating if i shouldn't become a chef one day... but I'd rather be a personal chef than a restaurant chef, because I enjoy entertaining more than feeling rushed. So, I've got lots of good stuff up my sleeve to share here

My morning sickness is gone, and my skin looks awesome! lol That whole "pregnancy glow" thing is really true. I'm excited because on the 10th of Aug. I'm going for my next ultrasounds, and I can't wait to look at my baby and see how much it's grown inside ^_^.
