So, how about we bring this up again and discuss the whole idea over again. It's been sitting in the air for a while, and nobody mentionned anything in a few months.

I guess the question would be : what would make an awesome page for the girls of Spawnpoint?

I know one thing that has come up to my mind ; it'd be cool to have *cough*a CSS server dedicated to us... *cough* lol
We could also maybe have an official clan?
Have editorials on up-to-date news that has to do with existing girl-clans?

Those are my current thoughts...

Any more suggestions? plans? ideas on what would make this work?

play with a girl or anyone, actually a lot of girls are pretty good like the girl on

mean the only think I don't like in this is a server to specific persons, I mean

if it's only to attract more girls who are playing fine, but a server like restricted

to anyone if it's not a girl ( not sure if it's what you were thinking ), is pretty

sexist. Diversity is the only way to sucess.


Will it be a indian server, a chinese server, .. ? No I'm not racist, actually a lot of my friends

are from other countries. Still if boys are admit in I got almost no problem with it, it's just the

fact that being a different kind to have advantage or disadvantage is unfair to me, all equal

for everyone.

I think it will simply be the fact that it's the "Girls" server. Like a PHXX server or some other clan, everyone can play, everyone who's admin is involved in who runs the server. So since it is a girls server, with a name like "Spawnpoint | Gamer-Girls 27/4 GET SOME!" or something like that, only the girls of spawnpoint will be admin there, it would be their server after all. Similar, you wouldn't want someone from my P.EXE clan admin in a PHXX server, that just wouldn't make sense.

And ladies, if anyone else starts giving you troubles, give me a name to work with, you'll no longer get any more trouble from them... You might want to tell them good bye though ...

"GET SOME" was something the army girls I knew always said when they'd kick our @ss's....

i don't understand at all why girls want to be a part of this gaming thing, just to separate themselves. i mean if they want to be separate then why not start a whole new gaming community? u've already started thinking about your own page, and your own server. why not get ur own community full of women that want to game with ONLY other women. sorry if i'm coming off rude but i'm kind of taking this as a slap in the face that i'm unwelcome to game with ppl because i'm a guy. i understand that maybe females feel unequal or maybe they take more abuse from other players, but none of that is welcome in spawnpoint at all so why not just report incidents and take demos like everyone else has to do with any other problem in this community. what's after the womens page and server? a page and server for only homosexuals or a setup for only African Americans? we can all just play together and increase the traffic to one website and one set of servers. guys don't get any thing special, and when we do it seems only in a desperate attempt to copy women. u see males posting in the girls forums and vice versa. we're all adults and we can all deal with the opposite sex. if there's a topic aimed towards women chances are men arn't going to want to talk about it, but if they did have something to add to the discussion what's so wrong with that?


sorry i'm rambling, like i said i really don't understand the big deal with separating a community that's so great as spawnpoint.

Cranix is right on the dot. Who said anything about boys not being aloud? O.o;; stop thinking like we're trying to be anti-male or something guys... It's like, you're all missing the point (except Cranix lol). Point explained below

Like I said, it's just a DEDICATED server. If it was girls only, there wouldn't be much going on there lol (being that there aren't alot of us).

I understand that you see it as segregation, because it's putting the girls in some kind of spotlight. But what you're not seeing is the big picture. It's not about leaving guys behind. It's about encouraging more girls to join, and have a little place to call their own. What I mean by that, is this:

Alot of gamer chicks get picked on, and get discouraged from online gaming because they feel like they don't belong there. When we find other girls who play our games, we like to "stick together" and create camaraderie amongst ourselves, which helps us feel better and not so "alone" out there.

Now, Spawnpoint is an awesome gaming community who welcomes everybody, regardless of sex, age, orientation, differences ect ect. Which is awesome! The idea is not to segregate girls from the rest of the community. It's just an idea thrown together to invite and encourage more girls to feel safe about gaming, and giving them a chance to have a bit more freedom to go all out as a gamer chick, without having to put up with the predjudices. And all that, as they stick together.

As Spawnpoint is a gaming community that promotes respect, how awesome would it be to have you guys back us up when we need it? Just like Cranix said in his last paragraph : if anyone's giving us trouble, you guys can help us out. Just like keeping the bullies away from your little sisters... lol

This has nothing to do with feminism, or segregation. We'd never , ever , ever leave you guys out. We're just trying to make a safe-haven for gamer-chicks.

So , that's what the point of having a SP-Girls page.

I will state again....I think it is singling girls out to a point...Ive played with all the ppl ive played with for years...This is a male domenating game..thats the way it is...If i wanted special treatment i wouldnt be playing cs...I enjoy earning what ive been given...makes it all worth my effort.Ive earned my respect from all kinds of players by being who i am and working my butt off...Ive heard alot say they like to play with girls because it brings something new to the game..To have a girl majority server?? U can do that with any server?Ive played in east2 since ive had my computer back up and ive played with pwn and alpha alot there and its been fun?...I dunno maybe im wrong here but this is just my 2 cents..

I dunno my home is spawnpoint.com/and my clan they have been for 4 years and will stay that way...I just enjoy everyone and alot of differant servers..this is just my view im just happy with the way things are and all the ppl i play with..

I'm down for anyones hard work. I'm a firm believer that good ol' fashioned hard work is the best way to get things done. Hope you guys get what you're looking for out of this idea.

Honestly, I really think that it's a great idea when it comes to other things. I can see how it wouldn't be for segregation, but it would single girls out more. I can just picture a few of the events.

everone is gaming nicely, calmly, peacfully having a grand old time

*enter annoying sexist prick* *insert sexist comments* *insert crude comments*

then the gameplay would go down hill from there...


Now, that might just be a slippery slope visualization for you, but I can definitely see it happening. I think it's one thing to have female oriented clans, but a specific server (in my opinion) would pretty much be asking for trouble. (and no offense to anyone)
