As a girl/woman, how has your gaming experience on the spawnpoint servers been?

Lately I've been seeing a lot more tools and a lot more racists as well...All of those people are just scared, insecure people who wouldn't dare say anything that they say online in real life. Advice that I could give would be to just imagine their pathetic situation, laugh at it and it won't bother you so much, meanwhile slaying them for harrassment

My biggest problem: I take things too seriously! I internalize everything. Too many things are starting to bother me and sometimes I want to "ma_ban#all"..without the quotes! Oh...and another thing...I feel like I'm starting to lose my sense of humor I think that when that happens, you should just uninstall and crawl under a rock!!!!!

So, in closing....Fem I love your quote. I couldn't have said it better myself!

Afterthought: This is not a rant...it's just what it is. I read Fem's quote and it touched me as to how true it is. Just reflecting upon it.

It's true this game gets frustrating...and it is especially hard for us girls. We have to deal with a ton more stuff than the guys, which totally sucks. But I think it helps having friends to fall back on.

Ok heres my thing ill chime in on the taking serious part. Ok i take this game very serious im so competitive. Everyone should know this . And sometimes it leads me to being stressed or pissed off or any other angry mood. But ill get pissed for 2 minutes and im back to normal after you need to relieze that you need to relax. Here's my most recent reason to relax, playing pissed off or stressed makes you play worse so if im stressed im going to do bad so i just let steam off maybe a curse or 2 in vent :P or to myself.

Now for pwnzers life and game balance. You need to just look at it as game you play to enjoy your self when you have time or to get away from things in your personal life. This tbh is my anti stress for real life lol. It may cause ingame stress but i can deal with that but rl stress i just like to play and take my mind off of it. As for the woman playing and getting harassed i make a big deal out of it i WILL ban anyone who decides to harass someone i dont take it lightly. I find it very rude and i wont accept it.


I also agree with davie talking to someone here that you can trust and that is very understanding and can give you help and is offering is a great idea I go to people if im stressed with things just cause telling others will lead to them trying to help you understand things. And its like getting things off your chest its like a weight being lifted instead of keeping it in and dealing with it yourself telling others can help you relieve stress and support you in your time that you are down in the dumps.

This used to be an anti-stress thing for me....it just isn't anymore. If anything else, it's causing more stress in my life.

People don't seem to understand that I cannot solve all THEIR problems. Sometimes, recently I've been getting stressed just from listening to others talk about their problems. I sometimes don't know what advice to give, sometimes I don't want to get involved, sometimes I don't want to talk about my problems...and I come out looking like a "B***H"...yes, with a capital B! That's what I mean by "taking it all too seriously".

I don't mind ppl coming to me, especilly friends...that's what friends are for. But people have to also understand that somedays I may be down, maybe I'm going through something. Idk, it's jsut that sometimes I feel overburdened and I want to turn everything off! Just for a while. Top all that with having things of your own to deal with...stress outside the game...and well, here I am!

Well there is where the problem lies. You dont need to help everyones problems. You have to be able to tell them to in a nice way lol that you cant help them. Especially if its someone your not close with you can tell them that you cant help them. And you need to talk about your problems. Unless of course its something personal. But if its something about cs:s you should be more than willing to talk to someone as thats not personal. Also if people are starting to worry about you There starting to notice something is very wrong with that said Nat im always willing to talk with you. If you feel like your to stressed with everything you just need to not play for the day. and relax watch tv :P

try being a mom, with a cranky baby that won't stop whining and you've tried everything, and you're gaming to calm things down, and it gets worst lol... that's the story of my day. I even tried giving him some milk, holding the bottle with my foot, while trying to play... failed... lol I looked like something out of a kamasutra book with clothes on and an angry face LOL

It's jsut hard because when you're doing something for so long, its hard to try and stop. People perceive you as not caring any more, and you feel like you are letting them down.

People have commented, even clanmates...you used to be so nice and sweet. Sometimes I don't want to be that...sometimes I want to be able to say...well...I won't say it here! hehe

if ya need someone to listen to ya while your blow some steam off ()or need a shoulder let me know scrimqueen ya i have a really big idea of how much ya girls go thru while gamin because of some of the things that are said to me because i try to inform ppl of the rules and enforce the rules i have also seen how other guys have behaves towards princesspeach or a current clan member of mine because they are girls which is just so sexist it is disgusting that some ppl behave the way they do. i am glad to see that all you GamerGirls are not turned away from games by egotistical males. message me via steam and i could annoy them with my voice
