who here has tried Crysis, and if so what do you think if it?

I have played and completed it, and after months and months of waiting and being teased by trailers i was quite disappointed (quite a big anti-climax)

Yes there are some nice new aspects of the game such as the suit that gives u special powers such as "Ultimate Strength", "Ultimate Speed", "Ultimate Armour" etc but that was 1 of the only interesting features of the game.

In my opinion the phsyics engine is exactly the same as farcry except now you can have lotsa fun cutting down trees with MG's or blow up buildings made of corrigated metal sheeting.

The most annoying part of the game was when u finally enter the huge mountain cave thingy where the aliens are and u dont have a clue where your goin.

I ran through it once on easy but haven't fooled around with it much otherwise. This game is great in terms of gameplay, if your computer can muscle it of course. Best played under DX10...yumm.

I never played farcry unfortunatly so I can't compare...It has great replayability since there are so many different ways to aproach each situation, stealth, all guns blazing, or whatever.

There is no and will never be a game able to live up to the ammount of hype this game got. I expected the worst when I got it and it turned out to be a pretty fun game. Not too long, but not short either; great action.

The world editor for it is fantastic too

512mb 8800 gt OC edition is on the way, i'm not gonna even try to play it till then

hopefully i can max it out on 1280x1024 settings

For me HL2 has one of the best story, I'm not sure that crysis beat HL2 for that, buy I'm going to buy it soon so I'll see..

Crysis rocks my world but i not played much of it yet pat cus i cant play it in full yet and other is the A.I seems abit dumb at times.

i havent even played the whole game yet, pretty much addicted to css so i dont play it that much

The graphics are cool, and these ultimate stuffs, but I didnt like the "world". I like Cod4 better.

It was a good game. The graphics were amazing and the story was interesting. I played it through on expert, but the AI wasn't too impressive. The ending was kind of anti climatic but that goes with the whole buy the sequels thing they are doing. It was worth the money and i'd buy it again after playing it.

Crysis has really amazing graphics. I think that they made a huge deal about it before it was released but it isn't as great as I expected.
Apart from the graphics and the gameplay I think it was very complicated and I prefer many other games to it.

I've tried the game but personally i find CoD4 a hell lot better, overall that is. Crysis beats cod4 in some categorys but CoD4 is still the best.

Single player is awesome, multiplayer I still prefer CSS over it and even over COD4 which I find really fun, but after all said and done its worth the $$$
