Default Source or 1.6?
Personally, I fell that CS:S is better than CS 1.6, because I just can't stand crappy graphics, and Source is a more updated, improved version of Counter Strike.

But what does everyone else think?

Depends. Gameplay wise, 1.6. Just to mess around and play custom mods and such like gungame or zombiemod, i'd go with source.

Source, i don't mind the graphics on 1.6 its just that the zombie mod they got is such crap (tho i like the creepy night time thing about that) tho source zombie mod is more of a challenge when your a zombie rather then 1.6

gameplay wise: 1.6 all da way

I have never player 1.6 but I've seen it played and i don't like the graphics...
they annoy me so in my opinion CS:S

1.6 best game ever and will be the best source is crap. Be realistic everyone cares about graphics but not one person cares about the gameplay. 1.6 FOREVER!!

1.6 was fun and all back in the day, but Source is much better in my opinion

1.6 definatly, for real matches, but i love all the source mod like zm, hide and seek, gg, death match. and climb servers.

I think that Source is way better,
But if they just brang back the shield it would be even better because come on the shield was amazing

Come on everyone likes source for its graphics there is nothing else good about it. Mention one other thing thats actually good about it besides graphics. Wait i know what some of you are going to mention the hitboxes and registry you guys just like it cause you cant aim

Having never played 1.6, I don't have a problem saying I love everything about source, not just the graphics. =P

I won't debate the hitbox topic with you, as I have nothing to compare Source to. Which is a good thing, judging by a lot of the opinions here.

Drifter, this post is mainly aimed at you, well, actually you're gonna be very bias, but, meh...

Since I have never played 1.6, what is it about the gameplay that's better than source?

I would also add that if you look at the poll, you will see that source is beating 1.6 11-2 (when I wrote this).
